Tents
A low-poly campsite pitch of five tent types: a green A-frame ridge tent, an orange dome tent, a canvas cabin tent with an orange awning, a tall bell tent with a pennant and a blue tunnel tent. Each has its own poles, door and guy ropes pegged into the ground.

Left rail: colours and the 3 knobs the agent wrote into this model — they rebuild the geometry and go into your download. Right rail: looks for the viewer. Drag to orbit, scroll to zoom.

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:
Tents for the Campground kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. This is one part of the Campground kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): Tents, vans and a lake. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: forest green #3a883a, canvas tan #bf9769, flame orange #ed7e1d, lake blue #2e67b8, forest green dark #235223, canvas tan dark #9a7142, forest green light #5db15d, canvas tan light #d2bca2, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `season` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Season" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Size at the defaults: the pitch is about 14.1 × 9.8 m including the guy-rope pegs and 3.34 m tall at the bell tent's pennant. Single tents: A-frame 1.8 × 2.2 m, 1.3 m tall; dome 2.2 m across, 1.3 m tall; bell 4.3 m across, 3.05 m to the apex; tunnel 2.0 × 3.7 m, 1.15 m tall; cabin 2.8 × 2.6 m, 2.35 m tall with a 1.15 m awning. The bottom rests on y = 0, the origin is at the bottom centre and every door faces roughly +Z. Each tent is one self-contained part (fabric, poles, door, ropes and pegs), so you can pull out a single tent; meshes are named tent-subpart-colour, e.g. bell_tent-roof-canvas-tan. season (the kit's 'Season') rolls the door flaps down: fully open at 0, about 40 % down at the default 0.5, zipped shut at 1. spread (0.85–1.4) spaces the tents apart; tentScale (0.85–1.15) scales every tent and the pitch together. Params are baked into the GLB at their defaults and only change the geometry when the scene is rebuilt in the viewer; the extremes (season 1, spread 0.85, tentScale 1.15) were also rendered and checked. The GLB has 1,776 triangles in 43 meshes and is static, with no animation clip. Every material is named exactly after a kit palette colour and all 12 kit colours are used; the exporter writes one material per mesh, so names repeat — recolour by name. glb-lint reports 0 errors and 5 expected warnings: material count and duplicate names (per-part, per-colour meshes), non-indexed geometry (on purpose, for flat facets), nested sibling overlap (poles and ropes sit on their fabric) and the height check against a 1 m reference. Its verdict reads UNVERIFIED only because no requirements contract was supplied. plan-check rejects only the hyphenated library part ids, because its regex allows no hyphen; the same plan with the slug de-hyphenated passes. three-check keeps all 6 ids. Viewer-only staging: exposure is 0.62; it is not in the GLB.
About the Tents 3D model
Tents is a free low-poly 3D model from the Campground set. It measures 14 m × 3.3 m × 9.8 m (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 1,776 triangles across 43 meshes, with 6 named parts. Download the 163 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.
- Is the Tents 3D model free for commercial use?
- Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
- What file format is it, and how big is it?
- A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 163 KB: 1,776 triangles, 5,328 vertices and 43 materials, modelled in metres at 14 m × 3.3 m × 9.8 m.
- Can I animate Tents?
- It ships as a static mesh. Its 6 named parts are separate nodes, so you can move or animate each one in your engine.
- Which engines and tools can open it?
- Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
- How was the Tents 3D model made?
- Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
