Orchard rows
A low-poly block of an apple orchard at harvest: three rows of vase-pruned apple trees with gold and red autumn crowns, on mulched berms with grass alleys between. Red apples hang in the crowns and lie in the leaf litter, and there is a full harvest bin and a picking ladder.

Left rail: colours and the 4 knobs the agent wrote into this model — they rebuild the geometry and go into your download. Right rail: looks for the viewer. Drag to orbit, scroll to zoom.

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:
Orchard rows for the Autumn Orchard kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. This is one part of the Autumn Orchard kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): Harvest time on a small farm. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: russet #988e81, apple red #c32222, gold #d0a225, cream #f1e7d0, russet dark #70685c, apple red dark #821717, russet light #b6b3af, apple red light #db5757, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `season` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Season" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Size: 10.8 m wide (x) × 10.4 m deep (z) × 3.24 m tall at the defaults. That is a block of nine semi-dwarf apple trees, 3.0 m apart in rows set 3.6 m apart, on a 0.12 m plot slab. The rows run front to back (along Z). The origin is at the bottom centre, resting on y = 0, and the front faces +Z. The GLB has 6,654 triangles in 14 meshes and no animation clip. Normals are baked flat (non-indexed). Each material is named exactly after a kit palette colour. The exporter writes one material per mesh, so some names repeat (dark wood, gold, apple red): recolour by name. Apples are drawn about 15 cm across, slightly oversized so they read at thumbnail size. season (the kit's 'Season', 0 = late summer, 1 = late autumn) turns the crowns from gold through apple red light to apple red dark, thins them by up to about 25%, widens the gold leaf-litter rings, and moves apples from the branches to the berms. rows and treesPerRow (2–4 each) resize the plot to fit, and treeHeight scales the trees. Params are baked into the GLB at their defaults and only change the geometry when the scene is rebuilt in the viewer. Only the defaults were rendered and checked. At the 4 × 4 maximum the model reaches about 11k triangles (estimated, not exported), which is above the 10k budget; every other combination is under it. The harvest bin holds a hidden apple-red fill block, so the heaped apples rest on something, and it shows as thin red lines between the slats. glb-lint: 0 errors and 5 heuristic warnings, all expected: more than 10 materials and duplicate names (one material per mesh), non-indexed flat shading, overlapping sibling boxes (trunks, litter and windfalls nesting on the berms, the ladder in a crown) and the scale check for a subject taller than 1 m. plan-check passes except for its part-id regex, which rejects the hyphens in the slug-based ids this library requires; the same plan with the slug de-hyphenated passes. three-check accepts those ids, and all 12 survive the GLB reload. Fix rounds: (1) at the direction's 1.05 exposure the pale palette washed out, so exposure was lowered to 0.6; (2) russet crowns read as grey ash and the plot vanished into the stage, so crowns were moved to gold / apple red light / apple red dark, alleys to russet dark and berms to dark wood; (3) the default crown mix was biased toward gold so the coral did not read pink.
About the Orchard rows 3D model
Orchard rows is a free low-poly 3D model from the Autumn Orchard set. It measures 11 m × 3.2 m × 10 m (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 6,654 triangles across 14 meshes, with 12 named parts. Download the 481 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.
- Is the Orchard rows 3D model free for commercial use?
- Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
- What file format is it, and how big is it?
- A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 481 KB: 6,654 triangles, 19,962 vertices and 14 materials, modelled in metres at 11 m × 3.2 m × 10 m.
- Can I animate Orchard rows?
- It ships as a static mesh. Its 12 named parts are separate nodes, so you can move or animate each one in your engine.
- Which engines and tools can open it?
- Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
- How was the Orchard rows 3D model made?
- Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
