Hay field tiles
A low-poly 4 × 4 m Autumn Orchard ground tile: a mown hay field with gold stubble and cream mower stripes, a raked windrow of cut hay, a round bale lying on its side and a stack of twine-tied square bales. Every edge is flat, so copies tile seamlessly.

Left rail: colours and the 4 knobs the agent wrote into this model — they rebuild the geometry and go into your download. Right rail: looks for the viewer. Drag to orbit, scroll to zoom.

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:
Hay field tiles for the Autumn Orchard kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. Make it a ground piece on an exact 4 × 4 m footprint with flat edges at y = 0 that tile seamlessly with its neighbours in every direction; origin at the tile centre. This is one part of the Autumn Orchard kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): Harvest time on a small farm. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: russet #988e81, apple red #c32222, gold #d0a225, cream #f1e7d0, russet dark #70685c, apple red dark #821717, russet light #b6b3af, apple red light #db5757, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `season` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Season" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Size: exactly 4.00 × 4.00 m, 1.13 m tall at the top of the round bale (1.1 m diameter). The bottom rests on y = 0, the origin is at the tile centre and the front faces +Z. A 0.05 m dark-wood soil bed carries the stubble, which is at exactly 0.10 m at every border. How it tiles: the ground's low undulation fades to that height within 0.5 m of every edge, so all four edges are flat. The mower stripes repeat every 1 m in z, so they line up with neighbours. The windrow runs the full length in X with identical end sections at x = ±2, so it continues into the next tile along X; rotate a copy by 90° and the windrow stops at the seam. Bales and tufts stay inside the footprint. The GLB has 4,998 triangles in 13 meshes, is static and carries no animation clip. Every material is named exactly after a kit palette colour. The exporter writes one material per mesh, so 'gold', 'cream' and 'apple red' appear more than once; recolour by name. season (the kit's 'Season') has three stubble steps: below 0.33 cream with gold stripes (fresh cut), 0.33–0.67 gold with cream stripes (the default), and above 0.67 russet with russet-light stripes (late autumn). Above 0.5 a growing share of the square bales weathers from gold to russet (none at the default, all at 1). The kit palette has no green, so the field stays golden-brown at every season. Params are baked into the GLB at their defaults and change the geometry only when the scene is rebuilt in the viewer. Only the defaults were rendered and checked. The viewer uses exposure 0.7 rather than the direction's 1.05 so the gold does not wash out; this does not affect the GLB. glb-lint: 0 errors and 4 expected warnings: 13 materials > 10 and the duplicate materials (both from the per-mesh export), non-indexed geometry (kept on purpose for hard flat facets), and overlapping sibling boxes (stubble meshes and windrow tones are nested by design). plan-check rejects only the hyphenated library part ids (its regex allows no hyphen); the same plan with the slug de-hyphenated passes. three-check and the GLB reload keep all 7 ids.
About the Hay field tiles 3D model
Hay field tiles is a free low-poly 3D model from the Autumn Orchard set. It measures 4.0 m × 1.1 m × 4.0 m (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 4,998 triangles across 13 meshes, with 7 named parts. Download the 372 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.
- Is the Hay field tiles 3D model free for commercial use?
- Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
- What file format is it, and how big is it?
- A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 372 KB: 4,998 triangles, 14,982 vertices and 13 materials, modelled in metres at 4.0 m × 1.1 m × 4.0 m.
- Can I animate Hay field tiles?
- It ships as a static mesh. Its 7 named parts are separate nodes, so you can move or animate each one in your engine.
- Which engines and tools can open it?
- Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
- How was the Hay field tiles 3D model made?
- Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
