Farm stand

A low-poly roadside farm stand at harvest time. It has a red gable roof with an apple emblem, tilted crates of apples and pears on a two-tier counter, pumpkins on the low shelf and on a hay bale, and a blank chalkboard by the road.

How it was made

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:

Farm stand for the Autumn Orchard kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. This is one part of the Autumn Orchard kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): Harvest time on a small farm. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: russet #988e81, apple red #c32222, gold #d0a225, cream #f1e7d0, russet dark #70685c, apple red dark #821717, russet light #b6b3af, apple red light #db5757, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `season` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Season" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Size: 3.55 m wide (x) × 1.80 m deep (z) × 2.79 m tall at the defaults. The stand alone is 2.4 m wide and 1.0 m deep between posts, plus roof overhangs; the hay bale on the left and the A-frame at front right make up the rest of the footprint. The counter top is at 0.89 m. The origin is at the bottom centre of that whole footprint, resting on y = 0, and the front (customer side) faces +Z. The GLB has 4,852 triangles in 27 meshes and no animation clip. Normals are baked flat (non-indexed). Each material is named exactly after a kit palette colour. The exporter writes one material per mesh, so some names repeat: recolour by name. The chalkboard is deliberately blank and the gable emblem is a plain apple shape, with no text or logos. Fruit is drawn slightly oversized (about 10 cm across) so it reads at thumbnail size. season (the kit's 'Season', 0 = late summer, 1 = late autumn) shifts the apples from apple red light through apple red to apple red dark, mixes squash into the gold crates, and raises the pumpkin count from 2 to 6. width sets the crate count (2 at 1.8 m, 3 at 2.4 m, 4 at 3.2 m). roofPitch and overhang reshape the roof, and the emblem scales to fit the gable. Params are baked into the GLB at their defaults and only change the geometry when the scene is rebuilt in the viewer. Only the defaults were rendered and checked. Each crate has a hidden russet-dark fill block under its fruit, which shows as dark lines between the slats. glb-lint: 0 errors and 6 heuristic warnings, all expected: more than 10 materials and duplicate names (one material per mesh), non-indexed flat shading, overlapping sibling boxes (roof, trim and gables nest by design), the back wall flagged as detached (it is set 1 cm into the posts, but the heuristic only compares meshes inside the same part group), and the scale check for a subject taller than 1 m. plan-check passes except for its part-id regex, which rejects the hyphens in the slug-based ids this library requires; the same plan with the slug de-hyphenated passes. three-check accepts those ids, and all 14 survive the GLB reload. Fix rounds: (1) the hero was raised above the roof pitch so both red slopes show, the single-disc emblem (which read as a stop sign) became a lobed apple with a stem and leaf, the crate fills went from produce colours to russet dark, and the A-frame and hay bale were moved; (2) the front overhang was shortened and the hero widened so the whole stand fits the frame; (3) the back wall was set into the posts.

About the Farm stand 3D model

Farm stand is a free low-poly 3D model from the Autumn Orchard set. It measures 3.5 m × 2.8 m × 1.8 m (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 4,852 triangles across 27 meshes, with 14 named parts. Download the 365 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.

Is the Farm stand 3D model free for commercial use?
Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
What file format is it, and how big is it?
A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 365 KB: 4,852 triangles, 14,556 vertices and 27 materials, modelled in metres at 3.5 m × 2.8 m × 1.8 m.
Can I animate Farm stand?
It ships as a static mesh. Its 14 named parts are separate nodes, so you can move or animate each one in your engine.
Which engines and tools can open it?
Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
How was the Farm stand 3D model made?
Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
