Seat rows

Low-poly airport gate seating: two back-to-back rows of four navy moulded seats on shared steel beams and T-feet, with black armrests between the seats, a yellow livery headband on each backrest and a wooden end table with power sockets.

How it was made

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:

Seat rows for the Airport Terminal kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. This is one part of the Airport Terminal kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): Check-in to gate. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: cool grey #7c7e83, navy #1c2a54, signal yellow #ffdb29, white #f4f1ec, cool grey dark #57585c, navy dark #090d1b, cool grey light #a6a6a6, navy light #344989, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `airlineLivery` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Airline livery" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Size: 3.10 m long (X) by 1.36 m deep (Z) by 0.845 m tall, with a seat height of 0.45 m, an armrest height of 0.655 m and a seat pitch of 0.62 m. Each row is four seats plus an end-table slot. The origin is at the bottom centre and the unit rests on y = 0. The front row faces +Z and the second row faces -Z, back to back. The end table is at +X on both rows. The exported model has 1,460 triangles in 11 meshes. Every material is named exactly after a kit palette colour; 9 of the 12 are used (cool grey, white and warm white are not). The model is static, with no animation clip. Params are baked into the GLB at their defaults and only change the model when the scene is rebuilt in the viewer. airlineLivery (the kit's 'Airline livery') sets the height of the yellow headband on every backrest, front and rear, from a 3 cm cap line at 0 to 20 cm at 1. seatCount sets 2 to 6 seats per row; at 5 slots or more a third T-foot is added in the middle. backToBack switches the second row on or off. endTable adds or removes the table. When endTable is 0, the airport-terminal-seat-rows.table part is absent by design. Both extremes were rendered and checked (2 seats, single row, no table, livery 0; and 6 seats, back to back, with table, livery 1). The high extreme passed three-check. The low extreme failed it only on that missing planned table part. glb-lint: 0 errors and 5 heuristic warnings. These cover per-mesh duplicate material names, non-indexed geometry (deliberate flat shading), the table's nested power module and sockets, parts that touch only other part groups, and the material count. Its verdict reads UNVERIFIED only because no host requirements contract was supplied. plan-check passes except for its part-id regex, which rejects the hyphens in the slug-based ids this library requires. three-check accepts those ids, and all 6 survive the GLB reload.

About the Seat rows 3D model

Seat rows is a free low-poly 3D model from the Airport Terminal set. It measures 3.1 m × 85 cm × 1.4 m (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 1,460 triangles across 11 meshes, with 6 named parts. Download the 112 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.

Is the Seat rows 3D model free for commercial use?
Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
What file format is it, and how big is it?
A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 112 KB: 1,460 triangles, 4,380 vertices and 11 materials, modelled in metres at 3.1 m × 85 cm × 1.4 m.
Can I animate Seat rows?
It ships as a static mesh. Its 6 named parts are separate nodes, so you can move or animate each one in your engine.
Which engines and tools can open it?
Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
How was the Seat rows 3D model made?
Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
