Passenger jet
A low-poly twin-engine narrow-body airliner parked on its landing gear, with a navy-and-yellow livery, swept wings with winglets and two under-wing turbofans. An 8-second loop spins the fans and swings the rudder, ailerons and elevators on their hinges.

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:
Passenger jet for the Airport Terminal kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. It moves: author a seamless baked loop (2–12 s) with every pivot exactly at its hinge, axle or swivel, and keep the base still. This is one part of the Airport Terminal kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): Check-in to gate. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: cool grey #7c7e83, navy #1c2a54, signal yellow #ffdb29, white #f4f1ec, cool grey dark #57585c, navy dark #090d1b, cool grey light #a6a6a6, navy light #344989, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `airlineLivery` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Airline livery" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Size: an A320-class jet, 37.7 m long, 35.8 m wingspan, 11.8 m to the fin tip, fuselage about 4 m across. The nose faces +Z, the origin is at the bottom centre, and the six tyres rest on y = 0 on flat facets. The GLB has 2,986 triangles in 35 meshes (merged per part and colour) and one baked 8 s clip, 'scene-motion', sampled at 30 fps. In the loop both fans turn 10 whole revolutions on their engine axes. The rudder sweeps ±14° once, the ailerons deflect opposite each other twice, and the elevators nod ±10° once. Each control surface turns on a pivot node on its hinge line. The fuselage, wings, engines and gear never move, and the wheels do not spin. Every material is named exactly after its kit palette colour. 11 of the 12 kit colours are used (dark wood is not). The exporter writes one material per mesh, so a colour name repeats across materials: recolour by name. Normals are baked flat (non-indexed), so the facets survive in any engine. There is no cabin interior, and the windscreen and windows are opaque. Params are baked into the GLB at their defaults and only change it when the scene is rebuilt in the viewer. airlineLivery (the kit's 'Airline livery') sets how far the navy belly wraps up the fuselage sides (45–75° from the keel) and the width of the yellow cheatline. It does not change hue. fuselageStretch adds or removes equal cabin plugs fore and aft of the wing, from A319-like to A321-like lengths, and adds or removes windows. fanTurns and controlSweep change the baked loop. glb-lint: 0 errors and 6 heuristic warnings. Material count and duplicate materials come from the per-mesh materials. Unindexed geometry is deliberate flat shading. Sibling overlap comes from livery, window and door patches lying on the fuselage and wings embedded in the wing-root fairing. 'Detached' flags the moving control surfaces, which sit a hairline off their hinge so they never z-fight, and the spinner tips. Scale compares 11.8 m with the direction's 1 m reference. plan-check passes except for its part-id regex, which rejects the hyphens in the slug-based ids this library requires; the same plan with the slug de-hyphenated passes. three-check accepts those ids, and all 15 survive the GLB reload.
About the Passenger jet 3D model
Passenger jet is a free animated low-poly 3D model from the Airport Terminal set. It measures 36 m × 12 m × 38 m (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 2,986 triangles across 35 meshes, with 15 named parts and a baked animation (8.0 s). Download the 281 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.
- Is the Passenger jet 3D model free for commercial use?
- Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
- What file format is it, and how big is it?
- A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 281 KB: 2,986 triangles, 8,958 vertices and 35 materials, modelled in metres at 36 m × 12 m × 38 m.
- Is Passenger jet animated?
- Yes — the GLB carries a baked animation (8.0 s), ready to play with any glTF animation mixer.
- Which engines and tools can open it?
- Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
- How was the Passenger jet 3D model made?
- Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
