Luggage belt
A low-poly airport baggage-reclaim carousel: an oval of overlapping grey plates circling a navy-topped centre island, with a flap-curtained feed hood, a turning yellow beacon and six bags riding the belt. It comes with a seamless 9.5 s running-belt loop.

Left rail: colours and the 3 knobs the agent wrote into this model — they rebuild the geometry and go into your download. Right rail: looks for the viewer. Drag to orbit, scroll to zoom.

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:
Luggage belt for the Airport Terminal kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. It moves: author a seamless baked loop (2–12 s) with every pivot exactly at its hinge, axle or swivel, and keep the base still. This is one part of the Airport Terminal kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): Check-in to gate. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: cool grey #7c7e83, navy #1c2a54, signal yellow #ffdb29, white #f4f1ec, cool grey dark #57585c, navy dark #090d1b, cool grey light #a6a6a6, navy light #344989, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `airlineLivery` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Airline livery" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Size at the defaults: 5.70 m long × 2.81 m deep × 1.25 m tall to the top of the beacon. The belt plates sit at 0.39 m and the bumper at 0.41 m. Origin is the bottom centre on y = 0 and the front faces +Z. The feed hood sits on the back (-Z) straight. The GLB has 2,964 triangles in 73 meshes. Animation clip 'scene-motion' is 9.5 s. Each loop the belt advances exactly half a lap, so every plate node ends in the start slot of the plate opposite it. The 36 plates are identical and the six bags repeat three designs every half lap, so the last frame matches the first. In an engine, each plate and bag node jumps by half a lap at the loop point, but the picture does not change. The beacon head makes 6 whole turns on its own vertical axis. The skirt, island and hood never move. Bags ride level and rest on the raised trailing ridges of the 5° tilted plates. Every material is named exactly after a kit palette colour; 10 of the 12 are used (navy dark and mid grey are not). The exporter writes one material per mesh, so a colour name appears on several materials: recolour by name. airlineLivery (the kit's 'Airline livery') sets the colour of the skirt band and hood walls: cool grey dark below 0.34, navy up to 0.67, signal yellow above. It also grows the band from 4 cm to 19 cm. carouselLength stretches the straights. beltSpeed sets the belt speed from 0.45 to 0.75 m/s, so the loop length changes with it, clamped to 4–12 s. Params are baked into the GLB at their defaults and only change the model when the scene is rebuilt in the viewer. Only the defaults were rendered and checked. Normals are baked flat (non-indexed geometry). glb-lint: 0 errors and 5 heuristic or direction warnings. Two come from the per-mesh materials (material count over the direction default, duplicate names). One flags non-indexed primitives, which is deliberate flat shading. One flags overlaps where the deck, bumper, kerb and bag details are nested by design. One flags plates and bags as 'detached' because they ride above the deck in their own nodes. plan-check passes except for its part-id regex, which rejects the hyphen in the slug-based ids this library requires; with the ids substituted it passes. three-check accepts the real ids and all planned ids survive the GLB reload.
About the Luggage belt 3D model
Luggage belt is a free animated low-poly 3D model from the Airport Terminal set. It measures 5.7 m × 1.2 m × 2.8 m (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 2,964 triangles across 73 meshes, with 13 named parts and a baked animation (9.5 s). Download the 690 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.
- Is the Luggage belt 3D model free for commercial use?
- Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
- What file format is it, and how big is it?
- A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 690 KB: 2,964 triangles, 8,892 vertices and 73 materials, modelled in metres at 5.7 m × 1.2 m × 2.8 m.
- Is Luggage belt animated?
- Yes — the GLB carries a baked animation (9.5 s), ready to play with any glTF animation mixer.
- Which engines and tools can open it?
- Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
- How was the Luggage belt 3D model made?
- Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
