Nets
A low-poly River Delta lift net standing in a patch of shallow river water: a square open-mesh net hung from four crossed bent-bamboo arcs, swung on a long counterweighted lever pole that rocks in a crossed A-frame beside a small stilt platform, with a few fish in the net's pocket.

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:
Nets for the River Delta kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. This is one part of the River Delta kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): Stilt houses and floating trade. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: muddy brown #43372d, palm green #3a883a, bright boat colours #b39d80, sky blue #2e67b8, muddy brown dark #15120e, palm green dark #235223, muddy brown light #6d5d50, palm green light #5db15d, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `waterLevel` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Water level" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Size: about 4.6 m wide (x) × 6.1 m deep (z) × 3.24 m tall to the lever-pole tip at the defaults. The net is 3.0 m square; the platform deck stands 1.05 m above the river bed. Origin is at the bottom centre, the water patch rests on y = 0, and the net end faces +Z. The water is a solid, opaque slab (not a transparent plane) that carries the scene. waterLevel (the kit's 'Water level') sets the water surface from 0.25 m to 0.65 m. The platform and A-frame stay fixed on the bed, while the net, the pole angle and the visible catch follow the waterline. lift swings the fixed-length lever pole: at 0 the net sits below the surface (hidden in the opaque water, catch hidden), and at 1 it hangs about 1.3 m clear of the water. netSize scales the net and its arcs from 2.2 to 3.4 m. fishCount shows 0–8 fish in the pocket (only fish above the water are built). Params are baked into the GLB at their defaults. The GLB has 4,406 triangles in 21 meshes, is static and carries no animation clip; three-check's ~4.7k figure includes the viewer's staging ground, which is not exported. Every material is named exactly after a kit palette colour (9 of the 12; the palm greens are unused). The exporter writes one material per mesh, so some names repeat; recolour by name. glb-lint reports 0 errors and only heuristic warnings (non-indexed flat-shaded primitives, duplicate same-name materials, overlapping part boxes, model taller than the 1 m reference). plan-check rejects the hyphenated slug part ids the library mandates; a copy with the ids de-hyphenated passes, and three-check accepts the hyphenated ids.
About the Nets 3D model
Nets is a free low-poly 3D model from the River Delta set. It measures 4.6 m × 3.2 m × 6.1 m (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 4,406 triangles across 21 meshes, with 8 named parts. Download the 329 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.
- Is the Nets 3D model free for commercial use?
- Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
- What file format is it, and how big is it?
- A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 329 KB: 4,406 triangles, 13,218 vertices and 21 materials, modelled in metres at 4.6 m × 3.2 m × 6.1 m.
- Can I animate Nets?
- It ships as a static mesh. Its 8 named parts are separate nodes, so you can move or animate each one in your engine.
- Which engines and tools can open it?
- Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
- How was the Nets 3D model made?
- Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
