Clocks
A low-poly Victorian railway platform clock: a double-faced drum clock with cream dials, black hands and a red seconds hand, on a cast-iron green column with a capital, a panelled pedestal and a stone plinth.

Left rail: colours and the 4 knobs the agent wrote into this model — they rebuild the geometry and go into your download. Right rail: looks for the viewer. Drag to orbit, scroll to zoom.

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:
Clocks for the Railway Station kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. This is one part of the Railway Station kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): Platforms, signals and a grand hall. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: brick #9e3d2e, iron green #3a883a, cream #f1e7d0, signal red #e90c0c, brick dark #63261d, iron green dark #235223, brick light #c66253, iron green light #5db15d, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `era` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Era" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Size: 4.8 m tall to the finial, 1.06 m wide across the drum, 0.72 m deep at the stone plinth (default params); the dial is 0.9 m across and the dial centre sits 4.1 m up. One double-faced clock: the front dial faces +Z, the back dial faces -Z and shows the same time. The origin is at the bottom centre and the model rests on y = 0. The GLB has 3,392 triangles in 14 meshes (merged per part and colour), about 3,420 with every param at its maximum, and no animation clip. Normals are baked flat (non-indexed). Every material is named exactly after its kit palette colour; 7 of the 12 kit colours are used. The exporter writes one material per mesh, so the same name appears on several materials: recolour by name. There are no numerals or text: hour batons only. The dial is open (no glass), so nothing transparent needs sorting. Params are baked into the GLB at their defaults and only change geometry when the scene is rebuilt in the viewer. The hands are fixed geometry, not separate rotatable nodes. To animate them in an engine, rebuild with a different time. era (the kit's 'Era') runs from an ornate early clock (0: minute track, spade hands, scroll brackets, panelled pedestal, ball-and-spike finial) to a plain later one (1: batons only, plain hands and pedestal, low cap). The spike drops at 0.4 and the other ornament at 0.75. postHeight (2.0–3.4 m) sets the column, dialSize (0.6–1.2 m) the dial and drum, and time (0–12 h, default 10:10) the hands. glb-lint: 0 errors and 5 heuristic warnings (material count, duplicate per-mesh materials, unindexed flat-shaded geometry, sibling overlap from collars and mouldings nested on the column on purpose, and scale compared with the direction's 1 m reference). plan-check passes except for its part-id regex, which rejects the hyphens this library's slug-based ids need. The same plan with the slug de-hyphenated passes. three-check accepts those ids, and all 7 survive the GLB reload.
About the Clocks 3D model
Clocks is a free low-poly 3D model from the Railway Station set. It measures 1.1 m × 4.8 m × 72 cm (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 3,392 triangles across 14 meshes, with 7 named parts. Download the 251 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.
- Is the Clocks 3D model free for commercial use?
- Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
- What file format is it, and how big is it?
- A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 251 KB: 3,392 triangles, 10,176 vertices and 14 materials, modelled in metres at 1.1 m × 4.8 m × 72 cm.
- Can I animate Clocks?
- It ships as a static mesh. Its 7 named parts are separate nodes, so you can move or animate each one in your engine.
- Which engines and tools can open it?
- Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
- How was the Clocks 3D model made?
- Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
