The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:
A realistic full-body 3D character: a Vietnamese market vendor woman in her mid 50s, short and sturdy, 155 cm tall. Warm brown eyes with deep laugh lines, sun-darkened skin with visible pores and a few age spots, a small mole on the right cheek. Black hair streaked with grey, pulled into a low bun, modelled as hair cards. Clothing: a faded floral-print cotton blouse with rolled sleeves, loose black satin trousers, a cloth money pouch on a strap across the body, plastic sandals, and a woven palm-leaf conical hat hanging on her back from a chin ribbon. Pose: neutral A-pose, arms at 45 degrees, fingers slightly spread, feet shoulder-width apart, neutral facial expression, mouth closed. Technical: 120,000 to 150,000 triangles total, with density concentrated in the face, hands and clothing folds. Clean quad-dominant topology with edge loops around the eyes, mouth, shoulders, elbows, knees and fingers so it deforms well when rigged. Separate meshes for body, eyes, teeth, hair and each clothing layer. Real-world scale in metres, origin at ground level between the feet. PBR textures at 4K: base colour, normal, roughness, metallic, ambient occlusion. No baked lighting or shadows in the base colour. No logos, brand names or readable text anywhere.

Note: Triangles: 140,758 measured on the exported GLB (body 60,912 incl. head and hands; hat 14,848; hair cards 13.3k; blouse 12,476; trousers 10,272; sandals 7,680; teeth 5,760; eyes 4,720; pouch 4,368; strap 2,560; corneas 1,520; ribbon 1,280; buttons 1,080). Base meshes are quad-dominant (98.0% quads before triangulation: 69,659 quads, 1,440 tris at poles and caps) with edge loops around the eyes, the closed mouth, shoulders, elbows, knees and every finger joint; body is one welded manifold with the ears as separate shells. Geometry is template quad topology ray-cast onto an analytic anatomical SDF, then relaxed; nothing is scanned. Textures: base colour, normal, roughness, metallic and AO per texture set were procedurally baked at 4096x4096 into dist/textures-4k/<set>_<map>.png (9 sets: body, eyes, teeth, hair, blouse incl. buttons, trousers, pouch incl. strap, sandals, hat incl. ribbon). The GLB embeds 2048x2048 copies (JPEG; hair base colour is PNG for its alpha-tested strands) with roughness/metal/AO packed as glTF ORM; model.glb is 13.5 MB. Base colour holds albedo only, with no lighting or shadow; AO lives only in its own map. glb-lint: 0 errors, plus 3 advisory warnings: the material count (13) and triangle budget exceed the mannequin-figure defaults, which the plan overrides on purpose, and the detached-part heuristic flags the clothing layers, eyes and hair because they are offset from the body by design. Limits: likeness is stylised-realistic rather than photoreal, and the face, though proportioned as an older Southeast-Asian woman, still reads a little heavy at the jaw and lips at close range. Hair is static alpha-tested cards, not strand-level groom. Clothing folds are sculpted, not simulated. Toes are simple lumps without sculpted joints. A small pinch remains where the thumb joins the palm on the dorsal side. No rig, skin weights or blendshapes are delivered (topology is prepared for them). Hands are a single relaxed, slightly spread pose.
About the Market Vendor 3D model
Market Vendor is a free realistic 3D model from the Characters set. It measures 1.4 m × 1.6 m × 54 cm (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 140,758 triangles across 13 meshes, with 13 named parts. Download the 12.9 MB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.
- Is the Market Vendor 3D model free for commercial use?
- Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
- What file format is it, and how big is it?
- A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 12.9 MB: 140,758 triangles, 79,866 vertices and 13 materials, modelled in metres at 1.4 m × 1.6 m × 54 cm.
- Can I animate Market Vendor?
- It ships as a static mesh. Its 13 named parts are separate nodes, so you can move or animate each one in your engine.
- Which engines and tools can open it?
- Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
- How was the Market Vendor 3D model made?
- Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
