Harbour steps
A low-poly section of Greek harbour quay with a flight of marble landing steps running down to the waterline between two coped cheek walls. The sea face carries wooden fenders and iron mooring rings, with stone bollards, amphorae and a potted olive tree on top.

Left rail: colours and the 4 knobs the agent wrote into this model — they rebuild the geometry and go into your download. Right rail: looks for the viewer. Drag to orbit, scroll to zoom.

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:
Harbour steps for the Greek Acropolis kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. This is one part of the Greek Acropolis kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): White temples on a rocky hill. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: marble #e8e6e3, aegean blue #2e67b8, olive green #3a883a, terracotta #be5937, marble dark #c6bfb9, aegean blue dark #1f457a, marble light #f8f7f7, aegean blue light #6190d1, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `paintedOrBareMarble` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Painted or bare marble" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Size: about 10.2 m wide × 7.3 m deep. The quay top is 2.4 m up and the olive tree reaches 4.51 m. Seven steps with a 0.3 m rise and 0.42 m going run seaward (+Z) from the quay face down to the waterline at y = 0. The 4 m flight sits between 0.6 m cheek walls. Origin is at the bottom centre, everything rests on y = 0, and no water plane is included. The GLB has 1,324 triangles in 16 meshes and is static, with no animation clip. three-check's 1,614-triangle figure includes the viewer's staging ground. Every material is named exactly after a kit palette colour (9 of the 12 at the default). The exporter writes one material per mesh, so a colour name can repeat; recolour by name. paintedOrBareMarble (kit 'Painted or bare marble'): below 0.3 the stone is bare. From 0.3 an aegean-blue band runs along the quay edge, and from 0.6 the cheek copings turn aegean blue dark and the newel caps turn terracotta. steps, stairWidth and quayWidth rebuild the piece (quay width is raised automatically to keep room for fenders and bollards). Params are baked into the GLB at their defaults and only change geometry when the scene is rebuilt in the viewer. Only the defaults were rendered and checked. glb-lint: 0 errors, 6 expected warnings: per-mesh duplicate materials and the count over 10, deliberately non-indexed flat facets, nested trim meshes, bollards and amphorae flagged as detached although they sink 1 cm into the paving, and a height above the 1 m reference scale. plan-check rejects only the hyphenated library part ids, because its regex allows no hyphen. The same plan with the slug de-hyphenated passes, and three-check and the GLB reload keep all 8 ids.
About the Harbour steps 3D model
Harbour steps is a free low-poly 3D model from the Greek Acropolis set. It measures 10 m × 4.5 m × 7.3 m (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 1,324 triangles across 16 meshes, with 8 named parts. Download the 107 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.
- Is the Harbour steps 3D model free for commercial use?
- Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
- What file format is it, and how big is it?
- A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 107 KB: 1,324 triangles, 3,972 vertices and 16 materials, modelled in metres at 10 m × 4.5 m × 7.3 m.
- Can I animate Harbour steps?
- It ships as a static mesh. Its 8 named parts are separate nodes, so you can move or animate each one in your engine.
- Which engines and tools can open it?
- Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
- How was the Harbour steps 3D model made?
- Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
