Lockers

A low-poly fire-station turnout-gear rack: four open engine-red bays with slatted sides, a helmet shelf and a brass-plated header rail. Three bays hold gear laid out for the alarm, with a helmet on the shelf, a black coat on its hook, and bunker pants pushed down over the boots.

How it was made

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:

Lockers for the Fire Station kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. This is one part of the Fire Station kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): Ready for the alarm. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: engine red #c32222, brick #9e3d2e, brass #b28c34, white #f4f1ec, engine red dark #821717, brick dark #63261d, engine red light #db5757, brick light #c66253, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `engineLivery` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Engine livery" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Size: 2.47 m wide (four 0.6 m bays), 2.13 m tall (a 2.0 m frame on a 0.1 m plinth, plus the roof sheet) and 0.58 m deep. The origin is at the bottom centre, the plinth rests on y = 0, and the open fronts face +Z. The GLB has 1,524 triangles and no animation clip, so it is a static asset. It uses 8 of the 12 kit colours (brick, brick dark, brick light and dark wood are not used), and every material is named exactly after its palette colour. The exporter writes one material per mesh, so a colour name can repeat across materials: recolour by name. Params are baked into the GLB at their defaults and only change the geometry when the scene is rebuilt in the viewer. bayCount sets 2–6 bays. lockerHeight sets the frame height. gearStowed fills bays with gear from left to right (3 of 4 at the default; the first bay holds the officer's white helmet). engineLivery (the kit's 'Engine livery') widens the white livery band on the header rail and the reflective bands on the coats and pants. Meshes are merged per part and colour. glb-lint reports 0 errors. Its verdict prints UNVERIFIED because 5 rules need a requirements contract or a manual review, and it adds heuristic warnings: the shelf and header touch the frame, which is a different part group, and the 2.13 m height is above the direction's 1 m reference. plan-check passes except for its part-id regex, which rejects the hyphens in the slug ids this library requires. A copy with the hyphens removed passes, and three-check accepts the ids; all 8 survive the GLB reload.

About the Lockers 3D model

Lockers is a free low-poly 3D model from the Fire Station set. It measures 2.5 m × 2.1 m × 58 cm (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 1,524 triangles across 19 meshes, with 8 named parts. Download the 93 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.

Is the Lockers 3D model free for commercial use?
Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
What file format is it, and how big is it?
A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 93 KB: 1,524 triangles, 2,763 vertices and 19 materials, modelled in metres at 2.5 m × 2.1 m × 58 cm.
Can I animate Lockers?
It ships as a static mesh. Its 8 named parts are separate nodes, so you can move or animate each one in your engine.
Which engines and tools can open it?
Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
How was the Lockers 3D model made?
Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
