Hoses
A low-poly firehouse hose rack: a dark-wood frame on steel feet holding two shelves of rolled engine-red fire hose with brass couplings, a spare roll lying flat on top, a length of hose draped over a drying arm and a brass branch nozzle on a hook.

Left rail: colours and the 4 knobs the agent wrote into this model — they rebuild the geometry and go into your download. Right rail: looks for the viewer. Drag to orbit, scroll to zoom.

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:
Hoses for the Fire Station kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. This is one part of the Fire Station kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): Ready for the alarm. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: engine red #c32222, brick #9e3d2e, brass #b28c34, white #f4f1ec, engine red dark #821717, brick dark #63261d, engine red light #db5757, brick light #c66253, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `engineLivery` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Engine livery" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Size: about 2.38 m wide (x, including the 0.54 m drying arm on the right and the nozzle hook on the left), 0.6 m deep (z, at the splayed feet) and 1.48 m tall to the top of the spare roll (default params). The rack body is 1.74 m wide with 0.46 m hose rolls (a 15 m length of 45 mm lay-flat hose) standing on edge, faces to +Z, on shelves 0.6 m apart. The origin is at the bottom centre and the model rests on y = 0. The GLB has 3,064 triangles in 20 meshes (merged per part and colour) and no animation clip. With 4 rolls per shelf and 3 shelves it is 5,104 triangles, 2.08 m tall; with 2 rolls and 1 shelf it is 1,680. Normals are baked flat (non-indexed). Every material is named exactly after its kit palette colour. The exporter writes one material per mesh, so the same colour name appears on several materials: recolour by name. Six of the 12 kit colours are used; brick tones and the whites are left to the buildings, except white hose at the low livery. engineLivery (the kit's 'Engine livery') sets the hose jacket in three bands: below 0.33 white hose with engine red rings; 0.33–0.67 engine red hose with engine red dark rings (default); above 0.67 engine red dark hose with engine red light rings. The spiral on each roll is suggested by an inset ring, not modelled turns. Params are baked into the GLB at their defaults and only change geometry when the scene is rebuilt in the viewer. glb-lint: 0 errors. Its heuristic warnings (duplicate materials from the per-mesh export, material count, unindexed flat-shaded geometry, sibling overlap where rolls sit inside the rack's bounds) are expected. plan-check passes except for its part-id regex, which rejects the hyphens this library's slug-based ids need. The same plan with the slug de-hyphenated passes, and three-check finds all 9 ids in the scene and after the GLB reload.
About the Hoses 3D model
Hoses is a free low-poly 3D model from the Fire Station set. It measures 2.4 m × 1.5 m × 60 cm (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 3,064 triangles across 20 meshes, with 9 named parts. Download the 233 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.
- Is the Hoses 3D model free for commercial use?
- Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
- What file format is it, and how big is it?
- A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 233 KB: 3,064 triangles, 9,192 vertices and 20 materials, modelled in metres at 2.4 m × 1.5 m × 60 cm.
- Can I animate Hoses?
- It ships as a static mesh. Its 9 named parts are separate nodes, so you can move or animate each one in your engine.
- Which engines and tools can open it?
- Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
- How was the Hoses 3D model made?
- Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
