Fire engine
A low-poly cab-forward aerial pumper in engine red, with a light bar and roof beacons, a brass bell, grey roller-door compartments, a brass pump panel and a white aerial ladder on a rear turntable. It comes with a seamless 6 s loop: the wheels roll and steer, the ladder swings and lifts on its ram, the bell rocks and the beacons spin.

Left rail: colours and the 4 knobs the agent wrote into this model — they rebuild the geometry and go into your download. Right rail: looks for the viewer. Drag to orbit, scroll to zoom.

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:
Fire engine for the Fire Station kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. It moves: author a seamless baked loop (2–12 s) with every pivot exactly at its hinge, axle or swivel, and keep the base still. This is one part of the Fire Station kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): Ready for the alarm. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: engine red #c32222, brick #9e3d2e, brass #b28c34, white #f4f1ec, engine red dark #821717, brick dark #63261d, engine red light #db5757, brick light #c66253, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `engineLivery` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Engine livery" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Size: a cab-forward aerial pumper 8.52 m long from the front bumper to the rear step, 2.54 m wide across the body (3.02 m over the mirrors) and 3.61 m tall to the top of the ladder at rest (cab roof 2.85 m, body roof 2.45 m). The ladder tip rises to about 4.9 m at the top of its lift. Tyres are 1.0 m across on a 4.5 m wheelbase, with dual tyres at the rear. The origin is at the bottom centre of the footprint, the tyres rest on y = 0, and the cab front faces +Z. The GLB has 4,216 triangles in 67 meshes, merged per part and per colour. Every material is named exactly after a kit palette colour. 8 of the 12 are used (brick, brick dark, brick light and dark wood belong to the station buildings). The exporter writes one material per mesh, so the same name repeats: recolour by name. The baked clip scene-motion (6 s, seamless) moves only parts on their own pivots. The wheels roll 1 whole turn. The front wheels sit in kingpin nodes that swivel ±0.1 rad. The turntable swings ±8° about vertical. The ladder lifts from its 4° rest about its heel pin (ladderLift above rest, never below). The ram barrel swivels on its foot pin while its rod slides, so the rod end stays on the ladder's ram eye. The bell rocks twice on its yoke axle. The beacons make 6 turns. The body never moves. Windows are opaque panels with no interior. Params are baked into the GLB at their defaults and only change the model when the viewer rebuilds the scene. engineLivery (the kit's 'Engine livery') widens the white bands on the cab and body from pinstripes (0) to broad bands (1); from 0.8 up the cab roof turns white too. ladderLength sets the aerial ladder from 4.5 to 7 m. ladderLift sets the lift amplitude in the loop (0 holds it at rest). compartments sets 2–4 roller doors ahead of the rear wheels on each side. Only the default params were rendered and checked; the extremes were not captured. glb-lint: 0 errors and 6 heuristic warnings (material count and duplicates from the per-mesh exporter, non-indexed flat-shaded geometry, deliberate trim overlaps, parts flagged 'detached' because each sits in its own group, and height against a generic 1 m reference). Its bounds y range of -0.19 to 4.61 is computed from rotated mesh boxes in the exported mid-loop pose (tyres mid-roll, ladder lifted), not from the actual vertices. The verdict reads UNVERIFIED only because no host requirements contract was supplied. plan-check passes except for its part-id regex, which rejects the hyphens in the slug-based ids this library requires; with the ids substituted it passes. three-check accepts the real ids, and all 26 survive the GLB reload. Two earlier three-check runs had one page-load timeout each because the machine was heavily loaded; the final full run passed 24 of 24 checks.
About the Fire engine 3D model
Fire engine is a free animated low-poly 3D model from the Fire Station set. It measures 3.0 m × 4.8 m × 8.6 m (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 4,216 triangles across 67 meshes, with 26 named parts and a baked animation (6.0 s). Download the 419 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.
- Is the Fire engine 3D model free for commercial use?
- Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
- What file format is it, and how big is it?
- A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 419 KB: 4,216 triangles, 12,648 vertices and 67 materials, modelled in metres at 3.0 m × 4.8 m × 8.6 m.
- Is Fire engine animated?
- Yes — the GLB carries a baked animation (6.0 s), ready to play with any glTF animation mixer.
- Which engines and tools can open it?
- Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
- How was the Fire engine 3D model made?
- Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
