Pipe runs
A low-poly overhead pipe run: a steel two-tier rack on concrete footings carrying colour-coded process, steam, gas, air and drain lines plus a cable tray. At one end the green process line elbows down into a flanged gate valve with a yellow handwheel and a sight glass.

Left rail: colours and the 4 knobs the agent wrote into this model — they rebuild the geometry and go into your download. Right rail: looks for the viewer. Drag to orbit, scroll to zoom.

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:
Pipe runs for the Factory Floor kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. This is one part of the Factory Floor kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): A production hall at full speed. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: machine green #3a883a, safety yellow #ffdd33, concrete #a39e99, steel #7e8c9a, machine green dark #235223, safety yellow dark #e6bf00, machine green light #5db15d, safety yellow light #ffea80, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `productMade` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Product made" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Size: 6.25 m long (runLength 6 m plus the drop at the +X end), 1.75 m deep and 3.64 m tall to the top of the process line. The rack's top beam sits at 3.2 m (rackHeight) and the lower tier sits 1.0 m below it. Bents stand about every 2.5 m on 0.45 m concrete footings. The origin is at the bottom centre of the footprint, the footings rest on y = 0, and the valve handwheel faces +Z. Every line except the green process line ends in a flange at both ends, so runs can be butted end to end. The GLB has 3,076 triangles in 25 meshes and no animation clip; it is a static asset. 10 of the 12 kit colours are used (safety yellow light and dark wood are not), and every material is named exactly after its palette colour. The exporter writes one material per mesh, so a colour name repeats across materials: recolour by name. Params are baked into the GLB at their defaults and change the geometry only when the scene is rebuilt in the viewer. runLength sets the run length and the bent count. rackHeight raises both tiers and lengthens the drop. pipeCount shows 2–5 lines in this order: process, steam, gas, air, drain. productMade (the kit's 'Product made') is the line's throughput: it raises the valve stem (opening) and fills the sight glass, so it is empty at 0 and full at 1. The meshes are merged per part and colour, so the valve is not rigged to turn. glb-lint: 0 errors. Its verdict prints UNVERIFIED because 5 rules need a requirements contract or a manual review. It also gives 5 heuristic warnings: material count (per-mesh materials), duplicate materials (same reason), nested flanges and shoes overlapping pipes (intended), 3 'detached' meshes that sit on parts in other groups (base plates on footings, air and drain lines on their shoes), and scale (it expects 1 m; this subject is 3.64 m). plan-check passes except for its part-id regex, which rejects the hyphens in the slug-based ids this library requires. A copy with the hyphens removed passes, and three-check accepts the ids, all 8 of which survive the GLB reload. The minimum-param extreme (3 m run, 2.6 m rack, productMade 1) was also checked and passes three-check.
About the Pipe runs 3D model
Pipe runs is a free low-poly 3D model from the Factory Floor set. It measures 6.3 m × 3.6 m × 1.7 m (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 3,076 triangles across 25 meshes, with 8 named parts. Download the 125 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.
- Is the Pipe runs 3D model free for commercial use?
- Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
- What file format is it, and how big is it?
- A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 125 KB: 3,076 triangles, 3,524 vertices and 25 materials, modelled in metres at 6.3 m × 3.6 m × 1.7 m.
- Can I animate Pipe runs?
- It ships as a static mesh. Its 8 named parts are separate nodes, so you can move or animate each one in your engine.
- Which engines and tools can open it?
- Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
- How was the Pipe runs 3D model made?
- Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
