Floor tiles with lanes

A low-poly 4 × 4 m factory floor tile: a concrete slab with saw-cut joints, a two-way forklift aisle between safety-yellow lane lines with direction arrows and a zebra crossing, and green pedestrian walkways along both sides. Its edges are flat and its lanes run straight through the borders, so copies tile seamlessly in every direction.

How it was made

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:

Floor tiles with lanes for the Factory Floor kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. Make it a ground piece on an exact 4 × 4 m footprint with flat edges at y = 0 that tile seamlessly with its neighbours in every direction; origin at the tile centre. This is one part of the Factory Floor kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): A production hall at full speed. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: machine green #3a883a, safety yellow #ffdd33, concrete #a39e99, steel #7e8c9a, machine green dark #235223, safety yellow dark #e6bf00, machine green light #5db15d, safety yellow light #ffea80, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `productMade` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Product made" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Size: an exact 4 × 4 m footprint, 6 cm concrete slab plus paint, 0.067 m tall overall. The origin is at the tile centre, the bottom rests on y = 0, the aisle runs along Z and the front faces +Z. The slab edges are flat. Lane lines and walkways run the full tile length, so they join the neighbouring tile's in Z. Walkways run out to both X edges, so side-by-side tiles share one walkway twice as wide. Saw-cut joints repeat every 2 m across the seams. Edge paint stops 1 mm short of the slab side to avoid z-fighting. The GLB has 474 triangles in 8 meshes and no animation clip; it is a static asset. It uses 7 of the 12 kit colours, and every material is named exactly after its palette colour. Params are baked into the GLB at their defaults and change the geometry only when the scene is rebuilt in the viewer. productMade (the kit's 'Product made') shows a busier line as forklift tyre scuffs on the aisle: 0 is a clean floor, the default gives 4 scuffs and 1 gives 8, placed by a seed. glb-lint: 0 errors. Its verdict prints UNVERIFIED because 5 rules need a requirements contract or a manual review. Its 5 heuristic warnings were reviewed and do not apply: the 'detached' paint is seated 8 mm into the slab, and the scale warning is expected for a 6.7 cm-thick floor tile. plan-check passes except for its part-id regex, which rejects the hyphens in the slug-based ids this library requires. A copy with the hyphens removed passes, and three-check accepts the ids.

About the Floor tiles with lanes 3D model

Floor tiles with lanes is a free low-poly 3D model from the Factory Floor set. It measures 4.0 m × 7 cm × 4.0 m (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 474 triangles across 8 meshes, with 7 named parts. Download the 48 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.

Is the Floor tiles with lanes 3D model free for commercial use?
Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
What file format is it, and how big is it?
A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 48 KB: 474 triangles, 1,422 vertices and 8 materials, modelled in metres at 4.0 m × 7 cm × 4.0 m.
Can I animate Floor tiles with lanes?
It ships as a static mesh. Its 7 named parts are separate nodes, so you can move or animate each one in your engine.
Which engines and tools can open it?
Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
How was the Floor tiles with lanes 3D model made?
Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
