Endless hallway

An open-topped lilac corridor with a black-and-white checker floor, cream portal frames and dark-wood doors on alternating walls. It narrows as it goes and its far end curls up off the ground toward a small gold door in the sky.

How it was made

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:

Endless hallway for the Dream Maze kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. This is one part of the Dream Maze kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): Stairs that go nowhere and doors in the sky. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: lilac #b89fd1, cream #f1e7d0, checker black and white #f4f1ec, gold #d0a225, lilac dark #916bb8, cream dark #e0c994, lilac light #ded4e8, cream light #fbf9f4, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `gravityDirection` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Gravity direction" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Real scale: 2.8 m wide × 3.43 m tall × 9.1 m long (footprint along Z). At the entrance the hallway has a 2.2 m clear width and 2.6 m ceiling height, with 0.9 m × 2.05 m side doors. Six 1.6 m bays narrow in forced perspective to 55% at the far end. From about 40% of the way along, the floor curls upward by 45°. The origin is at the bottom centre, the model rests on y = 0, and the open entrance faces +Z. It is 3,400 triangles with 10 materials, and each material is named after its Dream Maze palette colour. There are no textures and no animation. The checkerboard is modelled tiles, and normals are baked flat so the facets survive in any engine. gravityDirection sets how far the far end curls up: 0 keeps the hallway flat on the ground, 0.5 lifts it 45°, and 1 bends the far end vertical. bays, hallWidth and taper rebuild the hallway. All params change the viewer only; the GLB is a snapshot at the default values. Mesh nodes carry dream-maze-endless-hallway.* ids. Their parent assembly groups use plain ids (hallway, hallway.floor, hallway.walls, hallway.frames, hallway.doors, hallway.end) because the kit's plan grammar has no hyphens. Door knobs share the cream-dark rail mesh because the runtime exports one material per mesh, which keeps one material per palette colour. glb-lint has 0 errors. Its verdict prints UNVERIFIED only because no requirements contract exists. It also gives two accepted warnings: the 3.43 m height is the true scale, and the overlaps are intended (the floor sits between the walls, and doors and casings pass through the walls). The viewer uses exposure 0.85 rather than the direction's 1.05 so the pastel palette keeps its hue. OBJ export carries geometry only.
