Clocks

A low-poly lilac and dark-wood grandfather clock for the Dream Maze kit, with a gold-rimmed dial, a pendulum behind an arched window and a checkerboard plinth. About 2 m tall and ready to drop into a game scene.

How it was made

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:

Clocks for the Dream Maze kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. This is one part of the Dream Maze kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): Stairs that go nowhere and doors in the sky. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: lilac #b89fd1, cream #f1e7d0, checker black and white #f4f1ec, gold #d0a225, lilac dark #916bb8, cream dark #e0c994, lilac light #ded4e8, cream light #fbf9f4, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `gravityDirection` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Gravity direction" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Size: 0.60 m wide x 2.02 m tall x 0.38 m deep (metres, +Y up, front faces +Z, origin at bottom centre on y = 0). 1528 triangles, 8 materials, each named exactly after its Dream Maze palette colour (dark wood, lilac, lilac dark, cream, cream dark, gold, soot black, checker black and white) so the kit recolours as one; the palette's lilac light, cream light, warm white and mid grey are not used. Static: no animation clip. gravityDirection (0-1, default 0.5 = plumb) swings the pendulum about its pivot by up to about 12.7 degrees each way inside the arched window, toward the maze's skewed gravity. trunkHeight changes overall height (about 1.86-2.36 m). timeHours sets the hands. Params are baked into the geometry when you export, so the downloaded GLB carries the default pose. glb-lint: 0 errors; its heuristic warnings (non-indexed flat-shaded meshes, nested hands/checker boxes, a 2 m height against the 1 m style reference) are by design. Each part node is wrapped in a dreammazeclocks.* alias node used by the kit's plan tooling.
