Squid tentacles
A low-poly crown of six magenta squid arms and two club-tipped feeding tentacles rising from a dark rock burrow, with glowing suckers. It comes with a seamless 6-second sway loop. Built for the Deep Sea Abyss kit.

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:
Squid tentacles for the Deep Sea Abyss kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. It moves: author a seamless baked loop (2–12 s) with every pivot exactly at its hinge, axle or swivel, and keep the base still. This is one part of the Deep Sea Abyss kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): Black water and living lights. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: abyss black #151619, glow cyan #20c6df, magenta #d02597, vent orange #ed7e1d, abyss black dark #090a0b, glow cyan dark #168a9c, abyss black light #3a3c40, glow cyan light #67d4e4, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `glowColour` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Glow colour" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Real-world scale in metres. The asset stands 1.37 m tall: the feeding-tentacle clubs reach 1.37 m and the arms reach about 0.75 m. Its footprint is about 1.28 × 1.45 m, and the rock collar is 1.02 m across. Origin is the bottom centre, resting on y = 0, and the front faces +Z. The model has 5,552 triangles at the default 6 arms; each extra arm adds 648, so 8 arms comes to 6,848. It uses 5 materials, one per palette colour, each named after its colour, with the role in extras. Facets are baked into the normals, so it stays flat-shaded in any engine. Suckers and photophores carry an emissive palette colour through KHR_materials_emissive_strength (0.9). The rig is rigid, with no skinning. Each limb is a chain of pivot nodes (joint-N, club, club-tip), and every pivot sits at the centre of the dome where two segments meet. The baked clip 'scene-motion' runs 6 s at 30 fps and loops seamlessly; its first and last keys match exactly. Only the 48 limb pivots move; the base, collar, hole and pebbles never move. Param caveats: params change the model only when rebuilt in the viewer, and the baked clip in the GLB matches the default params. glowColour picks one of four kit swatches: 0–0.24 vent orange, 0.25–0.49 magenta, 0.5–0.74 glow cyan (default), 0.75–1 glow cyan light. In the magenta band the suckers share the skin colour and only their glow sets them apart. At 7–8 arms the scene needs about 110–123 draw calls, which is over the direction's guideline of 100. Hierarchy: the groups squidtentacles, squidtentacles.base, squidtentacles.arms and squidtentacles.tentacles are aliases for the design kit's plan checker. They are identity transforms and safe to flatten. glb-lint found 0 errors. Its verdict is UNVERIFIED rather than a clean pass because no requirements contract was supplied. It gave one heuristic warning, 'detached parts', because each nested segment mesh is the only mesh under its pivot. In the captures every segment joins its neighbour. The OBJ export is geometry only.
