Palace

A faceted low-poly palace: a great hall with arched windows and a peach pitched roof, four slim corner turrets under sky-blue cones, and a tall octagonal keep crowned by a gold-finialled spire. It stands on a three-course terrace with a balustrade and a grand stair, and faces +Z through a pedimented porch with a gold-framed arch.

How it was made

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:

Palace for the Cloud Kingdom kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. This is one part of the Cloud Kingdom kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): Castles on clouds at sunrise. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: cloud white #f4f1ec, peach #ecb893, sky blue #2e67b8, gold #d0a225, cloud white dark #d7cebc, peach dark #e08d52, cloud white light #f9f8f6, peach light #f6e3d5, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `timeOfDay` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Time of day" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Metres, +Y up, front faces +Z, origin at the bottom centre of the bounding box; the model measures 23.0 x 26.74 x 21.6 m and rests exactly on y = 0. 4788 triangles, 68 flat-shaded meshes, no textures and no animation clip. Materials are named by Cloud Kingdom palette colour ("cloud white", "sky blue", "gold" ...) rather than by role, so the whole kit recolours on material name; each mesh also carries its semantic role (wall, wallLight, stone, deck, roof, tile, trim, reveal, banner, gold, wood, shadow, metal, pane) in glTF extras. The GLB holds one material instance per mesh because the runtime clones materials on export, but only those twelve distinct names appear. `timeOfDay` does two things: it aims and tints the viewer's sun (viewer-only, not exported), and it picks the window-pane colour that IS baked into the GLB - gold lit panes at 0.00-0.60, sky blue daylight panes above. The other three params change geometry and are safe across their whole range (checked at both bounds and at both combined extremes). Subject only: no cloud base, ground, backdrop, lights or cameras are inside the model root - the kit's cloud islands carry the ground.
