Oven doors
A low-poly three-deck bakery oven in cream enamel on a dark stand, with soot black doors, warm glowing windows and gold handle bars. In an 8-second loop the doors drop open on their bottom hinges one after another, showing loaves on the stone decks inside.

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:
Oven doors for the Bakery and Patisserie kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. It moves: author a seamless baked loop (2–12 s) with every pivot exactly at its hinge, axle or swivel, and keep the base still. This is one part of the Bakery and Patisserie kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): Warm ovens and glass counters. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: cream #f1e7d0, pastry gold #d0a225, rose #cc6680, chocolate brown #6b4a2e, cream dark #e0c994, pastry gold dark #8f7019, cream light #fbf9f4, pastry gold light #debd63, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `productRange` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Product range" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Size at the defaults: 1.13 m wide (1.10 m body plus the cornice lip) × 1.94 m tall to the flue cap × 0.93 m deep with doors closed (0.86 m body and doors, plus handles and back panel). A dropped door reaches about 0.28 m further forward. The stand is 0.52 m tall and each deck is 0.33 m. Origin: bottom centre on y = 0, front faces +Z, flat back for wall placement. The GLB has 2,572 triangles in 30 meshes, merged per part and palette colour with flat normals. Every material is named exactly after a kit palette colour. The exporter writes one material per mesh, so a name can repeat: recolour by name. 'Pastry gold light' is the only emissive material, used on the door windows and heating strips. One 8 s clip, 'scene-motion': each door turns about X on its bottom-front hinge line, easing open to 85°, holding, easing shut and resting. The top door is mid-hold at t = 0, then the middle and bottom doors follow, so the loop is seamless. Stand, body and loaves never move. Params are baked into the GLB at their defaults and only change the model when the scene is rebuilt in the viewer. productRange (the kit's 'Product range') sets loaves per deck (2–6) and variety: boules only below 0.34, baguettes join below 0.67, rye bâtards above. Placement is seeded and deterministic. deckCount (2–4) adds or removes decks and door parts (door_1 is the bottom). openAmount scales the drop angle. Checks at the extremes: 4 decks with range 1 renders at 4,022 triangles with staging, and adjacent open doors stay clear. 2 decks with range 0 builds cleanly, but three-check flags door_3 as missing only because the plan lists the default three doors. glb-lint: 0 errors, plus 4 heuristic warnings that are expected for this pipeline: duplicate per-mesh materials, non-indexed flat-shaded geometry, nested sibling boxes, and detached-part flags. Its verdict reads UNVERIFIED only because no requirements contract was supplied. plan-check's part-id regex rejects the hyphenated library slug, so the plan was validated on a de-hyphenated copy (PASS). Fix round 1 was visual: a full gold roof slab read heavy, so it became a cornice lip round a cream enamel roof, and a back service panel with vent slats was added.
About the Oven doors 3D model
Oven doors is a free animated low-poly 3D model from the Bakery and Patisserie set. It measures 1.1 m × 1.9 m × 1.2 m (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 2,572 triangles across 30 meshes, with 7 named parts and a baked animation (8.0 s). Download the 220 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.
- Is the Oven doors 3D model free for commercial use?
- Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
- What file format is it, and how big is it?
- A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 220 KB: 2,572 triangles, 7,716 vertices and 30 materials, modelled in metres at 1.1 m × 1.9 m × 1.2 m.
- Is Oven doors animated?
- Yes — the GLB carries a baked animation (8.0 s), ready to play with any glTF animation mixer.
- Which engines and tools can open it?
- Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
- How was the Oven doors 3D model made?
- Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
