Feather banners
A low-poly Aztec feather banner standard for the Aztec Temple City kit: a white cloth banner with a red border and a turquoise stepped-pyramid emblem, hung from a crossbar on a dark wood pole that has a crown of red, turquoise and jade feathers, standing in a carved stepped stone plinth.

Left rail: colours and the 4 knobs the agent wrote into this model — they rebuild the geometry and go into your download. Right rail: looks for the viewer. Drag to orbit, scroll to zoom.

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:
Feather banners for the Aztec Temple City kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. This is one part of the Aztec Temple City kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): A city on a lake with stepped pyramids. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: stone grey #757e8a, turquoise #31c4b8, feather red #c32222, jade #389475, stone grey dark #525860, turquoise dark #22877e, stone grey light #a3a5a8, turquoise light #6dd5cc, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `carvingColour` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Carving colour" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Size: 1.35 m wide (crossbar with knobs) × 1.03 m deep (feather crown) × 3.81 m tall to the tip of the centre plume feather. The pole top is at 3.1 m, the crossbar at 2.8 m, and the banner is 0.8 m wide and 1.4 m long. The plinth is 0.78 m square and 0.32 m tall. The bottom rests on y = 0, the origin is at the bottom centre on the pole axis, and the banner's front faces +Z. The GLB has 832 triangles in 21 meshes. It is static and has no animation clip. Every material is named exactly after a kit palette colour. 8 of the 12 are used; turquoise light, stone grey light (used only when carvingColour is in its lowest step), soot black and mid grey are not. The exporter writes one material per mesh, so some names repeat: recolour by name. carvingColour (the kit "Carving colour" setting) picks the colour of the twelve carved plinth frieze studs in five steps: stone grey light, turquoise, jade (default), feather red, warm white. poleHeight, bannerLength and plumeFeathers reshape the standard. bannerLength is capped so the banner and fringe always clear the plinth on short poles. The params are baked into the GLB at their defaults and only change the geometry when the scene is rebuilt in the viewer. Only the defaults were rendered and checked. The banner is a rigid flat panel; there is no cloth or wind. It hangs from a crossbar lashed across the front of the pole, so the pole shows behind the banner from the back. glb-lint: 0 errors. It gives 5 expected warnings: 21 per-mesh materials against the direction default of 10, though only 8 distinct names are used; duplicate per-mesh materials; non-indexed flat-shaded geometry; overlapping boxes from nested parts (emblem on banner, knobs on crossbar); and a 3.81 m height against the direction's 1 m reference. Its verdict is UNVERIFIED only because no requirements contract was supplied. plan-check rejects only the hyphenated library part ids, because its regex allows no hyphen; the same plan with the slug de-hyphenated passes. three-check and the GLB reload keep all 11 ids. The ground disc in the preview is viewer staging and is not in the GLB.
About the Feather banners 3D model
Feather banners is a free low-poly 3D model from the Aztec Temple City set. It measures 1.4 m × 3.8 m × 1.0 m (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 832 triangles across 21 meshes, with 11 named parts. Download the 77 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.
- Is the Feather banners 3D model free for commercial use?
- Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
- What file format is it, and how big is it?
- A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 77 KB: 832 triangles, 2,496 vertices and 21 materials, modelled in metres at 1.4 m × 3.8 m × 1.0 m.
- Can I animate Feather banners?
- It ships as a static mesh. Its 11 named parts are separate nodes, so you can move or animate each one in your engine.
- Which engines and tools can open it?
- Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
- How was the Feather banners 3D model made?
- Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
