Neon signs
Low-poly freestanding arcade neon sign: a black chamfered backer board on two posts carrying glowing tube pictograms of a joystick with two buttons, a lightning bolt and sparkles, inside a cyan neon border.

Left rail: colours and the 4 knobs the agent wrote into this model — they rebuild the geometry and go into your download. Right rail: looks for the viewer. Drag to orbit, scroll to zoom.

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:
Neon signs for the Arcade kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. This is one part of the Arcade kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): Screens glowing in a dark room. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: black #151619, neon purple #9123c7, cyan #20c6df, hot pink #f589ad, black dark #090a0b, neon purple dark #611886, black light #3a3c40, neon purple light #b15bdc, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `era` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Era" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Size: 1.3 m wide (X) by 1.5 m tall by 0.48 m deep (Z) at the feet. The backer board is 1.3 × 0.8 m and 3 cm thick, with its underside 0.7 m above the floor. Neon tubes are 22 mm across and run 5 cm in front of the board face. The origin is at the bottom centre and the sign rests on y = 0, with the front facing +Z. The back is finished, with a transformer box, a cable running down the right post into its foot, and clamp plates on the posts. The exported model has 1,628 triangles in 17 meshes. Neon tubes are 6-sided sweeps with mitred corners. The glow is a flat emissive colour (emissiveFactor equals the base colour, at intensity 0.4); add bloom in your engine if you want a halo. There is no text, no logo and no texture. Every material is named exactly after a kit palette colour; 10 of the 12 are used at the default (neon purple and dark wood are not). The model is static, with no animation clip. Params are baked into the GLB at their defaults and only change the model when the scene is rebuilt in the viewer. era (the kit's 'Era') takes the board's corner chamfer from 16 cm at 0 to 4 cm at 1. Below 0.33 it also switches to an early-era sign: a dark wood board, a warm white outer border plus a hot pink inner border, and slightly smaller pictograms. boardWidth sets the board from 1.2 to 1.8 m, and the posts and layout follow. standHeight raises the board from 0.4 to 1.2 m off the floor. sparkles sets 0 to 5 sparkle tubes. Both extremes passed three-check: era 0, 1.2 m, 0.4 m, 5 sparkles gave 2,230 rendered triangles; era 1, 1.8 m, 1.2 m, 0 sparkles gave 1,438. glb-lint reports 0 errors and 5 heuristic warnings. These cover the material count (the exporter writes one material per mesh, all carrying the shared palette names), non-indexed geometry (deliberate flat shading), nested rim/board and post/clamp boxes, and tube parts that touch only their standoffs, which sit in a sibling part group. Its verdict reads UNVERIFIED only because no host requirements contract was supplied. plan-check passes except for its part-id regex, which rejects the hyphens in the slug-based ids this library requires. three-check accepts those ids, and all 9 survive the GLB reload.
About the Neon signs 3D model
Neon signs is a free low-poly 3D model from the Arcade set. It measures 1.3 m × 1.5 m × 48 cm (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 1,628 triangles across 17 meshes, with 9 named parts. Download the 131 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.
- Is the Neon signs 3D model free for commercial use?
- Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
- What file format is it, and how big is it?
- A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 131 KB: 1,628 triangles, 4,884 vertices and 17 materials, modelled in metres at 1.3 m × 1.5 m × 48 cm.
- Can I animate Neon signs?
- It ships as a static mesh. Its 9 named parts are separate nodes, so you can move or animate each one in your engine.
- Which engines and tools can open it?
- Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
- How was the Neon signs 3D model made?
- Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
