Shop

A low-poly aquarium gift-shop kiosk. It has deep-blue walls with a wave-topped water band and kelp, a striped coral-and-white awning over an open serving counter, and shelves of plush fish, turtles, starfish and snow globes, with a clownfish sign on the roof.

How it was made

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:

Shop for the Aquarium kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. This is one part of the Aquarium kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): Glass tunnels through blue water. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: deep blue #1b447e, coral orange #ed7e1d, glow green #3a883a, dark grey #525860, deep blue dark #0d223f, coral orange dark #af590e, deep blue light #2e67b8, coral orange light #eea668, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `seaRegion` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Sea region" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Size: 3.30 m wide (X, at the roof overhang) by 3.10 m deep (Z, from the back roof edge to the awning valance) by 3.97 m tall to the tip of the clownfish sign's dorsal fin. The roof top is at 2.96 m and the counter is 1.06 m high. The front faces +Z, the origin is at the bottom centre of the full footprint (awning included), and the model rests on y = 0. The exported model has 2,404 triangles in 38 meshes and is static, with no animation clip. Every material is named exactly after a kit palette colour, and all 12 colours are used. The runtime's export clones materials per mesh, so the GLB has 38 material slots carrying those 12 names; recolour by name. The interior (shelves and merchandise) is open to view through the counter. Merchandise is a fixed seeded mix (seed 7) of plush fish, turtles, starfish, snow globes and gift boxes. Everything is flat-colour geometry: no textures, no text, no logos. Params are baked into the GLB at their defaults and only change the model when the scene is rebuilt in the viewer. seaRegion (the kit's 'Sea region') raises the outside water band from 0.5 m (shallows) to 1.6 m (deep sea) and shortens the kelp from 1.5 m to 0.8 m. Both param extremes were rendered and passed three-check (all-max 3,246 viewer triangles, all-min 2,316). glb-lint reports 0 errors and 5 heuristic warnings: per-mesh material clones (counted twice, as material count and as duplicate materials), non-indexed geometry (deliberate flat shading), deliberately embedded or overlapping parts, and height versus the direction's 1 m reference. Its verdict reads UNVERIFIED only because no host requirements contract was supplied. plan-check passes except for its part-id regex, which rejects the hyphen in the slug-based ids this library requires. three-check accepts those ids, and all 14 survive the GLB reload.

About the Shop 3D model

Shop is a free low-poly 3D model from the Aquarium set. It measures 3.3 m × 4.0 m × 3.1 m (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 2,404 triangles across 38 meshes, with 14 named parts. Download the 201 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.

Is the Shop 3D model free for commercial use?
Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
What file format is it, and how big is it?
A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 201 KB: 2,404 triangles, 7,212 vertices and 38 materials, modelled in metres at 3.3 m × 4.0 m × 3.1 m.
Can I animate Shop?
It ships as a static mesh. Its 14 named parts are separate nodes, so you can move or animate each one in your engine.
Which engines and tools can open it?
Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
How was the Shop 3D model made?
Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
