Round tanks
A pair of cylindrical public-aquarium display tanks on a shared wooden dais, each with a navy plinth, a faceted glass column of blue water, a sand mound, rocks, orange coral, kelp and fish. Low-poly and game-ready.

Left rail: colours and the 4 knobs the agent wrote into this model — they rebuild the geometry and go into your download. Right rail: looks for the viewer. Drag to orbit, scroll to zoom.

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:
Round tanks for the Aquarium kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. This is one part of the Aquarium kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): Glass tunnels through blue water. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: deep blue #1b447e, coral orange #ed7e1d, glow green #3a883a, dark grey #525860, deep blue dark #0d223f, coral orange dark #af590e, deep blue light #2e67b8, coral orange light #eea668, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `seaRegion` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Sea region" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Real-world scale in metres: the default pair stands 2.10 m tall (the tallest tank's rim) on a 2.48 x 1.56 m footprint; the large tank's glass is 1.0 m across, the small one 0.72 m. Origin is bottom centre on y = 0, front faces +Z. 3,142 triangles, static (no animation clip). Every material is named for its Aquarium kit palette colour, with its role in extras. Glass ('warm white', 8% opacity) and water are alpha-blended. The water column is wound inward on purpose: only its far inner wall and the top surface draw, so the coral and fish in front keep their colours in any engine. Flip its faces if you need a solid-looking front. Geometry is unindexed with per-face normals so the facets stay flat in Blender, Godot and Unity. The exporter writes one material copy per mesh (33 copies of 11 colours, with identical names and values), so merging by name is safe. Params: seaRegion 0 gives a reef (more coral, orange fish, lighter blue), 1 gives cold water (more rocks and kelp, grey fish, 'deep blue' water past 0.6). tankCount 1-3 rebuilds the dais to fit. The GLB is the default (2 tanks, seaRegion 0.5); tank3 part ids exist only when tankCount is 3.
About the Round tanks 3D model
Round tanks is a free low-poly 3D model from the Aquarium set. It measures 2.5 m × 2.1 m × 1.6 m (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 3,142 triangles across 33 meshes, with 24 named parts. Download the 333 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.
- Is the Round tanks 3D model free for commercial use?
- Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
- What file format is it, and how big is it?
- A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 333 KB: 3,142 triangles, 9,426 vertices and 33 materials, modelled in metres at 2.5 m × 2.1 m × 1.6 m.
- Can I animate Round tanks?
- It ships as a static mesh. Its 24 named parts are separate nodes, so you can move or animate each one in your engine.
- Which engines and tools can open it?
- Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
- How was the Round tanks 3D model made?
- Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
