Entrance hall

A low-poly aquarium entrance hall: a glass-vaulted pavilion on a stone plinth with a coral canopy over the doors, porthole windows, a lobby tank and a clownfish sculpture on the ridge. A tunnel portal on the back wall is where the kit's glass tunnels dock.

How it was made

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:

Entrance hall for the Aquarium kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. This is one part of the Aquarium kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): Glass tunnels through blue water. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: deep blue #1b447e, coral orange #ed7e1d, glow green #3a883a, dark grey #525860, deep blue dark #0d223f, coral orange dark #af590e, deep blue light #2e67b8, coral orange light #eea668, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `seaRegion` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Sea region" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Size at default params: 13.2 m wide x 9.37 m tall (to the top of the fish) x 15.0 m deep, including the plinth, forecourt and steps. The hall itself is 12 x 9 m, the walls are 4.2 m high and the vault crown is about 7 m above ground. Origin is at the bottom centre, +Z is the front, and the model rests on y = 0. The model has 1756 triangles and 10 materials, each named exactly after its Aquarium kit palette colour. Glass is the 'deep blue light' material, alpha-blended at 0.42 opacity and double-sided. Everything else is opaque, flat colour, metalness 0. Normals are per-face (non-indexed geometry), so the facets survive in engines that have no flat-shading flag. There is no animation clip. Sea region (seaRegion) only changes what grows in the lobby tank: 0 is a coral reef (coral orange) and 1 is a kelp forest (glow green), with a seeded mix in between. The other params rebuild the geometry; the GLB is exported at the default values. Each part node is named aquarium-entrance-hall.<part> and carries that id in extras.partId. Directly beneath each one is a group named <part>, which carries a hyphen-free checker alias (aquarium.entrance_hall.<part>). Ignore the alias or collapse that group on import. glb-lint reports 0 errors and 4 heuristic warnings: non-indexed geometry (deliberate flat shading), porthole rim and glass nesting (deliberate), the vault shell and door pulls touching only other part groups (they are embedded in the walls and glass, not floating), and a 9.4 m height against the lint's 1 m default reference. Its overall verdict is UNVERIFIED because no requirements contract was supplied. The ground disc and lights in the viewer are not part of the GLB.

About the Entrance hall 3D model

Entrance hall is a free low-poly 3D model from the Aquarium set. It measures 13 m × 9.4 m × 15 m (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 1,756 triangles across 75 meshes, with 16 named parts. Download the 181 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.

Is the Entrance hall 3D model free for commercial use?
Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
What file format is it, and how big is it?
A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 181 KB: 1,756 triangles, 5,268 vertices and 10 materials, modelled in metres at 13 m × 9.4 m × 15 m.
Can I animate Entrance hall?
It ships as a static mesh. Its 16 named parts are separate nodes, so you can move or animate each one in your engine.
Which engines and tools can open it?
Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
How was the Entrance hall 3D model made?
Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
