Workshop interior

A cutaway low-poly workshop interior for the Alchemist's Quarter — timber-framed walls on a plank floor with a stone hearth and hanging cauldron, a cluttered workbench carrying a copper alembic still, potion shelves, tool rail, ladder and loft shelf, ajar door and shuttered window.

How it was made

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:

Workshop interior for the Alchemist's Quarter kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. This is one part of the Alchemist's Quarter kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): A narrow street of workshops and odd shops. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: timber brown #6b4a2e, plaster cream #f1e7d0, teal #2d8686, copper #b8602e, timber brown dark #362517, plaster cream dark #e0c994, timber brown light #9b704b, plaster cream light #fbf9f4, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `leanOfTheBuildings` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Lean of the buildings" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Static scene at believable room scale: a 3.74 m wide x 2.94 m deep x 3.16 m high interior vignette with an open front (three walls, floor and joists only) so the furnishing reads from every orbit angle; origin at bottom centre, ground plane is stage-only and not in the model. leanOfTheBuildings (0-1) sags the three wall groups inward at their floor pivots; shutterOpen rotates the window shutter leaves; clutter scales the bench/shelf scatter; hearthGlow sets the ember emissive intensity; seed re-jitters bottle, log and herb placement. All params rebuild the scene procedurally in the viewer — the shipped GLB is baked at the defaults above. Part ids use the slug sanitized to alchemistsquarterworkshopinterior because the kit's part-id grammar admits only lowercase letters, digits, underscores and dots. The exporter clones each mesh's material into the GLB, so the file lists 87 materials but all carry the exact palette names above; the lint's material-count, duplicate-materials, unindexed, sibling-overlap and scale warnings are benign consequences of that, of intentional embedded construction, and of the real-world metre scale. The GLB carries no animation clips.
