Glass retorts

A display rack of three low-poly glass retorts — faceted teal bulbs with drooping beak necks, seated in dark-wood socket rings with copper collars on a footed timber tray.

How it was made

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:

Glass retorts for the Alchemist's Quarter kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. This is one part of the Alchemist's Quarter kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): A narrow street of workshops and odd shops. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: timber brown #6b4a2e, plaster cream #f1e7d0, teal #2d8686, copper #b8602e, timber brown dark #362517, plaster cream dark #e0c994, timber brown light #9b704b, plaster cream light #fbf9f4, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `leanOfTheBuildings` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Lean of the buildings" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Tabletop scale: 0.50 m wide x 0.24 m deep x 0.161 m tall, resting on y=0 with origin at the tray's bottom centre. Glass is real alpha-blended transparency (double-sided); facets are baked into the geometry so the low-poly look survives in any GLB consumer. Static piece — evaluatePose is a no-op and the GLB carries no clip. The viewer's export snapshot duplicates material instances per mesh, so the file shows 23 material slots under 7 unique palette names — recolour by material name. leanOfTheBuildings tilts each retort in its socket (the kit's lean knob); neckDroop deepens the beak pour; bulbSize and liquidLevel are self-explanatory.
