How it was made

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:

Barrels for the Alchemist's Quarter kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. This is one part of the Alchemist's Quarter kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): A narrow street of workshops and odd shops. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: timber brown #6b4a2e, plaster cream #f1e7d0, teal #2d8686, copper #b8602e, timber brown dark #362517, plaster cream dark #e0c994, timber brown light #9b704b, plaster cream light #fbf9f4, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `leanOfTheBuildings` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Lean of the buildings" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Static street prop, 0.894 m tall and roughly 0.9 x 0.8 m in plan at default params — believable beside a workshop door in the Alchemist's Quarter; origin at bottom centre, all three chime rims rest on y=0. Every GLB material is named exactly its kit palette colour (timber brown, soot black, copper, ...) so the set recolours as one. leanOfTheBuildings (0-1) slumps each barrel a few degrees about its own base while the chime rim stays planted; bulge (0.3-1.5) deepens the belly and spreads the cluster spacing so neighbours never collide at any setting; barrelHeight scales all three together; seed re-rolls lean directions and plank-tone order. The ground disc, light rig and backdrop in the viewer are staging only and are not in the GLB, which carries no animation clips. The exporter clones each mesh's material into the GLB, so the file lists 31 materials — all carrying the palette names above; the lint's material-count, duplicate-materials and sibling-overlap warnings are benign consequences of that and of intended embedded joins (hoops over staves, tap collar in the stave face, contents drum inside the open barrel). Exported model: 4212 triangles.
