Security lane
A low-poly airport security screening lane: a white X-ray machine with a black-curtained tunnel between two roller tables, with grey trays holding a laptop, a bag or a jacket. Beside it are a walk-through metal-detector arch, a line of queue stanchions, and the screener's monitor and stool.

Left rail: colours and the 3 knobs the agent wrote into this model — they rebuild the geometry and go into your download. Right rail: looks for the viewer. Drag to orbit, scroll to zoom.

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:
Security lane for the Airport Terminal kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. This is one part of the Airport Terminal kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): Check-in to gate. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: cool grey #7c7e83, navy #1c2a54, signal yellow #ffdb29, white #f4f1ec, cool grey dark #57585c, navy dark #090d1b, cool grey light #a6a6a6, navy light #344989, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `airlineLivery` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Airline livery" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Size: the conveyor is 7.2 m end to end, with a 2.2 m X-ray machine 1.56 m tall and a roller height of 0.76 m. The walk-through arch is 2.35 m tall with a 0.8 m wide walkway. The whole footprint, including the queue stanchions and the screener's stool, is 7.87 m long (X) by 4.36 m deep (Z). The origin is at the bottom centre of that footprint, resting on y = 0. The passenger side (arch and stanchions) faces +Z, the screener station is at -Z, and bags travel from -X to +X. The exported model has 2,808 triangles in 39 meshes. Every material is named exactly after a kit palette colour; 11 of the 12 are used (warm white is not). The exporter writes one material per mesh, so the same colour name appears on several materials: recolour by name. The model is static, with no animation clip. Params are baked into the GLB at their defaults and only change the model when the scene is rebuilt in the viewer. airlineLivery (the kit's 'Airline livery') sets the height of the yellow livery band round the X-ray housing (0.05 m to 0.50 m) and of the stripe round the arch header. laneLength stretches both roller tables equally. trayCount is limited by the free roller space: at 6 m only 2 trays fit, and at 7.2 m and above up to 4. The tray stack and the two empty trays on the return shelf are always present. three-check passed at both extremes (livery 0, 6 m, 6 trays; livery 1, 9 m, 6 trays) and with 0 trays. glb-lint: 0 errors and 5 heuristic warnings. Two are about material count and duplicates, both caused by the per-mesh materials. One flags non-indexed geometry, which is deliberate flat shading. One flags overlaps where tunnel liners, bands and tray contents are deliberately nested. The last is the expected-height heuristic, which assumes about 1 m. Its verdict reads UNVERIFIED only because no host requirements contract was supplied. plan-check passes except for its part-id regex, which rejects the hyphens in the slug-based ids this library requires. three-check accepts those ids, and all 8 survive the GLB reload.
About the Security lane 3D model
Security lane is a free low-poly 3D model from the Airport Terminal set. It measures 7.9 m × 2.4 m × 4.4 m (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 2,808 triangles across 39 meshes, with 8 named parts. Download the 302 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.
- Is the Security lane 3D model free for commercial use?
- Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
- What file format is it, and how big is it?
- A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 302 KB: 2,808 triangles, 8,424 vertices and 39 materials, modelled in metres at 7.9 m × 2.4 m × 4.4 m.
- Can I animate Security lane?
- It ships as a static mesh. Its 8 named parts are separate nodes, so you can move or animate each one in your engine.
- Which engines and tools can open it?
- Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
- How was the Security lane 3D model made?
- Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
