Zeppelin Airship

A 1930s-style rigid airship: silver doped envelope over an exposed ring-frame and girder lattice, cruciform tail fins with rudders and elevators, a suspended windowed control car, and four engine cars with spinning propellers.

How it was made

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:

A 1930s rigid airship (~60 m in library scale) with a silver fabric envelope showing the ring frames and longitudinal girders beneath, cruciform tail fins with rudders and elevators, a passenger gondola with windows and railings, engine cars with propellers on struts and a mooring cone. Propellers spin in a baked loop.

Note: About 117k triangles — deliberately above the direction's 80k guideline because this is a Hero Props showpiece. The metal frame lattice nests inside the fabric envelope by design (rigid-airship construction). The GLB carries one baked 2-second propeller-rotation clip; propRevs only changes the viewer's baked spin rate. Rests on its landing wheel at y=0, nose faces +Z.
