Solar arrays
A low-poly solar array mast for an orbital shipyard: a truss mast on a heavy octagonal base carries an orange gimbal head and two long wings of deep-blue cell blankets. Half the bays are fitted with cells and the outer bays are still bare braced frames.

Left rail: colours and the 4 knobs the agent wrote into this model — they rebuild the geometry and go into your download. Right rail: looks for the viewer. Drag to orbit, scroll to zoom.

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:
Solar arrays for the Orbital Shipyard kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. This is one part of the Orbital Shipyard kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): Ships under construction in open space. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: white #f4f1ec, orange #ed7e1d, deep space blue #1b447e, silver #b9bfc6, white dark #d7cebc, orange dark #af590e, white light #f9f8f6, orange light #eea668, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `shipCompletionStage` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Ship completion stage" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Physical size at defaults: 14.3 m wingspan (x), 6.07 m tall (y), about 2.4 m deep (z); each wing is 5 bays of 1.1 m with two 1.2 m-tall cell blankets either side of a central boom. Origin is at the bottom centre of the base, which rests on y = 0; cell faces point to +Z, tilted up 20 degrees by the gimbal. Wingspan grows with wingSegments (about 10 m at 3 bays, 19 m at 7) and height with mastHeight. shipCompletionStage fills the blanket bays with cells from the mast outward, alternating upper and lower blanket (0 = bare braced frames, 1 = all bays fitted). Each wing pivots on its rotary drum axis, so panelTilt changes the build; it is not an animation. Static model with no animation clip, 1772 triangles. Each node carries two part ids: the library id (orbital-shipyard-solar-arrays.*) on the outer group and the plan id (solararray.*) on the inner one. Material names are the exact kit palette colour names (10 colours). The exporter writes one material copy per mesh, so the GLB lists 29 materials with repeated names. glb-lint reports 0 errors and 5 non-blocking heuristic warnings: material count and duplicates from that per-mesh copy, intentionally non-indexed flat-shaded facets, intended nesting where parts overlap, and the 6 m height measured against a 1 m reference.
