The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:

A classic brass refracting telescope on an equatorial mount: long tube with dew shield and focuser, finder scope, counterweight shaft and weights, setting circles with engraved ticks as geometry, slow-motion knobs, and a cast-iron pier on a tripod base, all with bolts and fittings. The tube slowly tracks across the sky in a baked loop.

Note: Full-size instrument: 2.19 m tall, rests on y=0, front faces +Z. The baked 16s clip tracks the tube ±3° about the polar axis and spins the RA worm knob; pivots are real nodes so the motion stays rigid. Part ids use the hyphen-free prefix 'observatorytelescope'. Params (declination, focuser draw, weight count, tube length) reshape the live scene only — the GLB is a fixed pose. Setting-circle ticks are geometry, not textures. Lint warnings are expected: 116.7k triangles exceed the direction's 80k default per the Hero Props brief (declared override), and sibling-overlap/detached flags are intended nested bearings and coaxial shafts.
