Flags

A low-poly festival flag cluster: three fanned flagpoles of stepped height flying two-band banners, socketed into a black ballast tub on a wooden pallet. Static, game-ready, flat-shaded.

How it was made

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:

Flags for the Music Festival kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. This is one part of the Music Festival kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): Stages, tents and mud. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: tie-dye #988e81, stage black #151619, grass green #3a883a, sunset orange #ed7e1d, tie-dye dark #70685c, stage black dark #090a0b, tie-dye light #b6b3af, stage black light #3a3c40, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `genre` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Genre" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Real-world scale in metres: 3.17 m wide × 4.89 m tall × 1.0 m deep. The base is a 1.0 × 1.0 m pallet with a 0.88 m ballast tub, and the poles are 7 cm hex poles. The origin is the pallet centre on y = 0, the front faces +Z, and the banners fly toward +X, so the bounding box sits off-centre on X. The model is 772 triangles with no textures. Every mesh has non-indexed geometry with baked per-face normals, so the facets survive in any engine. Every material is named after its kit palette colour; recolour by name. The viewer's exporter clones materials per mesh, so the GLB holds 20 material slots that share those 7 names. The Genre knob changes the banner cut (0 rectangle, 0.5 swallowtail, 1 pennant). Params are baked at export, and the GLB carries the default (0.5). The model is static and has no animation clip; the kit has a separate waving-flags asset. Node hierarchy: flags > flags.base / flags.left / flags.center / flags.right assembly groups, which hold the music-festival-flags.* meshes. glb-lint reported 0 errors and 5 heuristic warnings: duplicate material slots, non-indexed flat geometry, socket and pole nesting, 4.9 m vs a 1 m reference height, and the material count. Its overall verdict is UNVERIFIED because no requirements contract was supplied.

About the Flags 3D model

Flags is a free low-poly 3D model from the Music Festival set. It measures 3.2 m × 5.0 m × 1.0 m (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 772 triangles across 20 meshes, with 23 named parts. Download the 75 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.

Is the Flags 3D model free for commercial use?
Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
What file format is it, and how big is it?
A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 75 KB: 772 triangles, 2,316 vertices and 20 materials, modelled in metres at 3.2 m × 5.0 m × 1.0 m.
Can I animate Flags?
It ships as a static mesh. Its 23 named parts are separate nodes, so you can move or animate each one in your engine.
Which engines and tools can open it?
Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
How was the Flags 3D model made?
Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
