Main stage

A low-poly open-air festival main stage: a black deck under a faceted arched roof with an orange header, carried on four truss towers, with hanging PA line arrays, sub stacks, side screens and a drum riser in front of a striped half-sun backdrop.

How it was made

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:

Main stage for the Music Festival kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. This is one part of the Music Festival kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): Stages, tents and mud. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: tie-dye #988e81, stage black #151619, grass green #3a883a, sunset orange #ed7e1d, tie-dye dark #70685c, stage black dark #090a0b, tie-dye light #b6b3af, stage black light #3a3c40, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `genre` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Genre" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Size at default params: 26.6 m wide (x, screen to screen; the deck itself is 16 m), 13.1 m deep (z, from the rear stairs to the front sub stacks; the deck is 10 m) and 13.83 m tall to the top of the orange header. The deck is 1.6 m high with 9 m clearance to the roof springing. The audience side faces +Z, the origin is at the bottom centre and the model rests on y = 0. The GLB has 6,680 triangles in 51 meshes (each part merged to one mesh per colour) and no animation clip. Normals are baked flat (non-indexed), so the facets survive in any engine. Every material is named exactly after its kit palette colour (10 of the 12 kit colours are used; grass green and soot black are not). The viewer's exporter writes one material copy per mesh, so the file has 51 material entries that share those 10 names; recolour by name, or merge same-named materials on import. genre (0-1) sets how loud the rig is: 4-10 PA boxes per hang, 1-3 subs per stack and 4-10 lights on the front truss. The four params rebuild the model; the GLB is the default build (genre 0.5). At the largest settings (genre 1, 20 m deck, 2.2 m deck, 11 m clearance) it measures 8,020 triangles and 16.9 m tall. glb-lint reports 0 errors and 6 advisory warnings: the material count and duplicate materials described above, non-indexed primitives (intended for flat shading), nested light lenses and speaker grilles, parts touching across groups, and the 1 m reference-height scale hint, which does not apply to a 13.8 m building. The plan's part ids keep the library's hyphenated slug, which the kit's plan-check id pattern does not accept; three-check matched all 27 planned ids.

About the Main stage 3D model

Main stage is a free low-poly 3D model from the Music Festival set. It measures 27 m × 14 m × 13 m (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 6,680 triangles across 51 meshes, with 27 named parts. Download the 513 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.

Is the Main stage 3D model free for commercial use?
Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
What file format is it, and how big is it?
A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 513 KB: 6,680 triangles, 20,040 vertices and 51 materials, modelled in metres at 27 m × 14 m × 13 m.
Can I animate Main stage?
It ships as a static mesh. Its 27 named parts are separate nodes, so you can move or animate each one in your engine.
Which engines and tools can open it?
Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
How was the Main stage 3D model made?
Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
