Entrance arch

A low-poly music festival entrance gate. Two black ballasted towers with tie-dye banners hold a truss header that carries an equalizer-bar sign and a rising-sun crest, with bunting strung over a duckboard walkway.

How it was made

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:

Entrance arch for the Music Festival kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. This is one part of the Music Festival kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): Stages, tents and mud. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: tie-dye #988e81, stage black #151619, grass green #3a883a, sunset orange #ed7e1d, tie-dye dark #70685c, stage black dark #090a0b, tie-dye light #b6b3af, stage black light #3a3c40, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `genre` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Genre" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Size: 10.26 m wide including the flags, 7.89 m tall to the top of the sun crest and 3.0 m deep along the deck. The clear opening between the towers is 7.0 m wide, and the truss underside sits 5.0 m above the ground. The front faces +Z, the origin is at the bottom centre and the model rests on y = 0. The exported model has 4,080 triangles in 27 meshes and no animation, because it is a static set piece. Every material is named exactly after a kit palette colour. 10 of the 12 colours are used (tie-dye #988e81 and stage black dark are not). The GLB lists 27 material entries because the exporter writes one copy per mesh, but there are only 10 distinct names. Recolouring by name still works. Params are baked into the GLB at their defaults and only change the model when it is rebuilt in the viewer. genre (the kit's 'Genre') sets the sun crest and the sign. At 0 (folk) the crest has 7 broad, short rays and the equalizer bars form one smooth swell. At 1 (electronic) it has 15 long, thin rays and the bars form busy, spiky peaks. Both param extremes passed three-check: all-min gives 3,638 triangles and all-max gives 5,198. At 4 m tower height the lowest pennant tip is still about 2 m above the deck. glb-lint found 0 errors and 6 non-blocking warnings: duplicate material copies and material count (both from the per-mesh export copies), non-indexed geometry (deliberate flat shading), intended nesting overlaps, scale (a 7.9 m structure compared with a 1 m reference) and the truss flagged as detached (it sits on the tower caps, which are in different part groups). The lint verdict reads UNVERIFIED only because no host requirements contract was supplied. plan-check passes except for its part-id rule, which rejects the hyphens in the slug-based ids this library requires; three-check accepts them and all 11 survive the GLB reload.

About the Entrance arch 3D model

Entrance arch is a free low-poly 3D model from the Music Festival set. It measures 10 m × 7.9 m × 3.0 m (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 4,080 triangles across 27 meshes, with 11 named parts. Download the 309 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.

Is the Entrance arch 3D model free for commercial use?
Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
What file format is it, and how big is it?
A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 309 KB: 4,080 triangles, 12,240 vertices and 27 materials, modelled in metres at 10 m × 7.9 m × 3.0 m.
Can I animate Entrance arch?
It ships as a static mesh. Its 11 named parts are separate nodes, so you can move or animate each one in your engine.
Which engines and tools can open it?
Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
How was the Entrance arch 3D model made?
Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
