Welding rigs
A low-poly mobile welding rig for a mech repair bay: a wheeled cart with a welding power unit, wire feeder and spool, and two strapped gas cylinders. A yellow mast and counterweighted swing boom carry the torch cable out and hang the welding torch at working height.

Left rail: colours and the 4 knobs the agent wrote into this model — they rebuild the geometry and go into your download. Right rail: looks for the viewer. Drag to orbit, scroll to zoom.

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:
Welding rigs for the Mech Hangar kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. This is one part of the Mech Hangar kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): A bay where giant robots are repaired. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: steel grey #757e8a, safety yellow #ffdd33, navy #1c2a54, red #c32222, steel grey dark #525860, safety yellow dark #e6bf00, steel grey light #a3a5a8, safety yellow light #ffea80, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `mechColourAndLoadout` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Mech colour and loadout" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Size at defaults: 2.89 m tall (top of the boom king post; the boom beam sits at about 2.4–2.56 m), 2.2 m wide and 1.94 m deep including the swung-out boom. The cart alone is 1.3 x 0.9 m about 1.45 m long including the push handle and clamp coil. The torch hangs at about 1.0–1.3 m. Origin is the bottom centre of the whole bounding box, so the cart sits off-centre when the boom swings out. Casters rest on y = 0. The welder's control panel faces +Z. Part ids use the sanitized slug 'mechhangarweldingrigs' because the kit's plan validator does not allow hyphens in ids, matching the other Mech Hangar assets. mechColourAndLoadout sets the welder housing colour (navy below 0.33, red up to 0.67, warm white above). It also sets the kit the rig carries, 1 to 4 items: ground-clamp coil, then a second gas cylinder, a welding helmet and an extinguisher. Default 0.5 gives the first three. boomReach, boomSwing and mastHeight reshape the boom, and the cable and torch follow it. 4,460 triangles in the GLB at defaults. Static asset, so the GLB has no animation clips. The GLB has 42 material slots that are per-mesh copies of 11 palette materials. Each is named exactly after its palette colour, so recolouring by name still works. glb-lint found no errors. Its 4 warnings are expected: the material copies, part meshes that sit inside one another (embedded joins) rather than touching at a surface, and a height above the 1 m reference because this is a full-size rig.
