Hangar doors
Giant telescoping steel hangar doors for a mech repair bay: four ribbed sliding leaves on rail bogies in a navy portal frame with a hazard-chevron header, warning beacons and drive sprockets. The leaves slide open and closed in a seamless 10-second loop.

Left rail: colours and the 4 knobs the agent wrote into this model — they rebuild the geometry and go into your download. Right rail: looks for the viewer. Drag to orbit, scroll to zoom.

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:
Hangar doors for the Mech Hangar kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. It moves: author a seamless baked loop (2–12 s) with every pivot exactly at its hinge, axle or swivel, and keep the base still. This is one part of the Mech Hangar kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): A bay where giant robots are repaired. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: steel grey #757e8a, safety yellow #ffdd33, navy #1c2a54, red #c32222, steel grey dark #525860, safety yellow dark #e6bf00, steel grey light #a3a5a8, safety yellow light #ffea80, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `mechColourAndLoadout` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Mech colour and loadout" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Real-world scale: 35.3 m wide x 16.76 m tall (beacon tops; header top at 15.0 m) x 5.2 m deep including the rear braces, with a 22 x 13 m clear opening sized for the kit's hangar shell and a ~10-12 m mech. 2,716 triangles, flat-shaded, no textures. The origin is at the bottom centre of the bounding box, so the door plane sits about 1.3 m in front of the origin along +Z; front faces +Z. Baked clip 'scene-motion' (10 s, seamless, rest pose t=0 is closed): hold, then the inner leaves slide 11 m and the outer leaves 5.5 m along X into the parking bays, hold, close, hold. Each bogie wheel rolls without slipping about its own axle, the drive sprockets turn with the travel, and the beacons spin five turns on their vertical swivels. Sill, rails, posts, braces, cladding and header never move. mechColourAndLoadout sets the livery band on the leaves: navy below 0.34, red to 0.67 (default), warm white above. The material name changes with it, so the band always carries its palette name. openAmount scales how far the leaves travel in the clip, doorHeight resizes the opening and everything above it, and ribCount sets the horizontal ribs on each leaf. Part ids use the sanitized slug 'mechhangarhangardoors' because the kit's part-id grammar does not allow hyphens. The exporter writes one material per mesh, so the same palette names repeat across GLB materials; dedupe by name if needed. glb-lint verdict is 0 errors (reported UNVERIFIED only because no requirements contract exists). Its warnings are benign: non-indexed primitives are the intended flat facets; sibling overlaps are embedded joins (stripes on the chevron band, braces into foot blocks, beacon visors); the 'detached' parts are the beacon plinths resting on the header and the wicket door mounted on its leaf; the 16.76 m height is the intended scale.
