Kinh thành Huế, Thừa Thiên Huế

A stylised diorama of Ngọ Môn, with yellow and green glazed pavilion roofs above a five-gateway masonry base. Lotus ponds and a stone bridge complete the rear garden, with a gentle ten-second animated loop.

How it was made

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:

The Imperial City of Huế (UNESCO), seat of the Nguyễn dynasty, shown by Ngọ Môn (the Meridian Gate). A massive U-shaped stone-and-brick base about 58 m wide with five gateways (the central one for the emperor); on top, the Lầu Ngũ Phụng (Five Phoenix Pavilion) — a two-storey wooden structure on many red-lacquered columns with nine roofs: the central roofs in yellow glazed tiles, the side roofs in green-blue glazed tiles, all with upturned corners and dragon ridge ornaments. In front, a stone-paved esplanade; behind the gate, lotus ponds on both sides of a central causeway with a small bridge. Loop (10 s): lotus leaves sway and the ponds ripple. Make it a polished, elegant model in the stylised-PBR direction: clean proportions, smooth curvature, soft bevels on every edge, crisp silhouettes and a restrained palette of named materials (name each material for what it is, e.g. "limestone", "red lacquer", "glazed roof tile", "sea water"); every material in the exported GLB must carry that name — set `material.name` on each one, because an unnamed material fails review. It must be recognisable at a glance as the real place. No text, lettering, logos or signage anywhere. Reference photos of the real place are in `reference/` (ref1.jpg, ref2.jpg, ref3.jpg): open and study them before planning if you can view images, and compare your hero capture with them before delivering. Natural sites and large complexes are presented as a tabletop diorama on a clean rounded plinth with slate-grey sides; state the real-world scale and the diorama scale in meta.notes. Hard requirement: the exported GLB must contain AT LEAST 150,000 triangles (target 200,000–350,000) — measure it before delivering. Spend the budget on real modelled detail (roof tiles, carvings, railings, mouldings, rock strata, foliage clusters, water surface, boats), never on invisible subdivision. Keep the GLB under 25 MB: index all geometry, instance repeated parts, no image textures.

Note: Tabletop diorama at 1:50: the approximately 58 m wide real gate is represented by a 1.16 m pavilion/base. Diorama plinth is 1.50 × 1.15 m, overall height 0.420 m; real architectural height is stylised at approximately 18.5 m above site grade. Metre units, +Y up, front +Z, underside at y=0. Simplified architectural reconstruction from supplied photographs, not a measured conservation survey. Nine roofs and five through passages; ornaments are stylised dragon silhouettes. Ripple rings and lotus leaves use baked rigid transform animation, not fluid simulation. Params rebuild the viewer; downloaded GLB contains the default settings. Parts use hue.* IDs because the kit validator requires an alphanumeric root; the library slug remains kinh-thanh-hue. Every exported material is named; runtime export duplicates some shared material records. Lint has nonblocking budget, nesting and lotus-clearance warnings. OBJ exports geometry only.
