Gành Đá Đĩa, Phú Yên

A stylised basalt headland with hundreds of beveled polygon columns, weathered terraces and a sheltered tide pool. Sculpted blue surf and white foam surge in a seamless six-second loop.

How it was made

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:

Gành Đá Đĩa — a headland of tightly packed basalt columns on the Phú Yên coast — as a diorama. Hundreds of hexagonal and pentagonal basalt columns, black-grey with ochre weathering, stand side by side and step down toward the sea like stacked plates, their tops forming a honeycomb of polygons; some columns broken off at different heights; waves crash against the foot of the headland; blue sea. Loop (6 s): waves surge and foam around the columns. Make it a polished, elegant model in the stylised-PBR direction: clean proportions, smooth curvature, soft bevels on every edge, crisp silhouettes and a restrained palette of named materials (name each material for what it is, e.g. "limestone", "red lacquer", "glazed roof tile", "sea water"); every material in the exported GLB must carry that name — set `material.name` on each one, because an unnamed material fails review. It must be recognisable at a glance as the real place. No text, lettering, logos or signage anywhere. Reference photos of the real place are in `reference/` (ref2.jpg, ref3.jpg): open and study them before planning if you can view images, and compare your hero capture with them before delivering. Natural sites and large complexes are presented as a tabletop diorama on a clean rounded plinth with slate-grey sides; state the real-world scale and the diorama scale in meta.notes. Hard requirement: the exported GLB must contain AT LEAST 150,000 triangles (target 200,000–350,000) — measure it before delivering. Spend the budget on real modelled detail (roof tiles, carvings, railings, mouldings, rock strata, foliage clusters, water surface, boats), never on invisible subdivision. Keep the GLB under 25 MB: index all geometry, instance repeated parts, no image textures.

Note: Model units are metres. The tabletop footprint is 1.6 × 1.2 m at 1:50 diorama scale, representing an approximately 80 × 60 m coastal section; column widths and relief are exaggerated for tabletop readability. This is a stylised composition studied from the supplied photos, not a surveyed replica. The slate plinth is part of the diorama and its bottom rests at y=0. Water is sculpted solid geometry; the six-second surf loop uses baked rigid transforms, not fluid simulation. Named material roles use no image textures. Remix knobs rebuild the viewer geometry; re-bake the six-second clip after changing parameters before exporting a new animated GLB. OBJ is geometry only.
