Train set
A low-poly toy train set for a kids' bedroom: a sky-blue steam engine with a coral cab roof pulling a coal wagon, a passenger carriage and a cargo wagon round an oval loop of track, with a snow-capped tunnel and a signal post.

Left rail: colours and the 4 knobs the agent wrote into this model — they rebuild the geometry and go into your download. Right rail: looks for the viewer. Drag to orbit, scroll to zoom.

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:
Train set for the Kids' Bedroom kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. This is one part of the Kids' Bedroom kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): Toys, bunk beds and a fort. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: sky blue #2e67b8, sunshine yellow #eecd2b, coral #e2715a, white #f4f1ec, sky blue dark #1f457a, sunshine yellow dark #bda00f, sky blue light #6190d1, sunshine yellow light #f0db75, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `ageOfChild` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Age of child" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Size: the set covers 0.70 m × 0.48 m and stands 0.124 m tall to the tunnel top; the engine is 12 cm long on track with 34 mm between the rails. The origin is at the bottom centre of the footprint on y = 0, and the front faces +Z. The GLB has 3,220 triangles in 25 meshes (merged per part and palette colour, flat normals baked) and no animation clip. Every material is named exactly after its kit palette colour; 11 of the 12 are used (warm white is not). Params are baked at export, so the GLB is the default build. ageOfChild sets the toy scale, from chunky toddler track and train at 1.2× (0) to a finer 0.8× set (1); the whole set scales with it. wagons couples 1–4 wagons behind the engine. straightLength stretches the two straights from 0.2 to 0.6 m. tunnel set to 0 removes the tunnel part. The train carries no lettering or numbers. plan-check's part-id regex rejects the hyphenated slug ids the library requires, so the plan was validated on a de-hyphenated copy (PASS); three-check accepts the hyphenated ids. glb-lint reports 0 errors. Its warnings are expected for this pipeline: non-indexed flat-shaded geometry, overlapping sibling boxes inside the engine (chassis, cab and boiler nest), 'detached' on the rails, which rest on the sleepers in a separate mesh, and a 'scale' note because a floor toy is far smaller than the 1 m reference.
About the Train set 3D model
Train set is a free low-poly 3D model from the Kids' Bedroom set. It measures 70 cm × 12 cm × 48 cm (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 3,220 triangles across 25 meshes, with 6 named parts. Download the 248 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.
- Is the Train set 3D model free for commercial use?
- Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
- What file format is it, and how big is it?
- A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 248 KB: 3,220 triangles, 9,660 vertices and 25 materials, modelled in metres at 70 cm × 12 cm × 48 cm.
- Can I animate Train set?
- It ships as a static mesh. Its 6 named parts are separate nodes, so you can move or animate each one in your engine.
- Which engines and tools can open it?
- Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
- How was the Train set 3D model made?
- Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
