The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:
A realistic full-body 3D character: a male emergency nurse in his late 20s, broad-shouldered, 183 cm tall. Dark brown eyes, light stubble, deep brown skin with visible pores and a small scar on the chin, slightly tired eyes. Short tight curly hair with a fade, modelled as hair cards. Clothing: navy scrubs with creased fabric and a chest pocket holding pens, a long-sleeve grey undershirt, a fob watch and a stethoscope around the neck, a lanyard with a blank ID card, black clogs, and a pair of nitrile gloves tucked into the waistband. Pose: neutral A-pose, arms at 45 degrees, fingers slightly spread, feet shoulder-width apart, neutral facial expression, mouth closed. Technical: 120,000 to 150,000 triangles total, with density concentrated in the face, hands and clothing folds. Clean quad-dominant topology with edge loops around the eyes, mouth, shoulders, elbows, knees and fingers so it deforms well when rigged. Separate meshes for body, eyes, teeth, hair and each clothing layer. Real-world scale in metres, origin at ground level between the feet. PBR textures at 4K: base colour, normal, roughness, metallic, ambient occlusion. No baked lighting or shadows in the base colour. No logos, brand names or readable text anywhere.

Note: Triangles: 149,470 in the GLB (source mesh 97.3% quads: 73,699 quads + 2,072 tris; body 70,892 of which head ~32k and hands ~14k, clothing 43k, hair/brows/stubble 15.9k, accessories 12.6k). Textures: every set authored procedurally at 4096x4096 and written to dist/textures-4k/<mesh>_{basecolor,normal,roughness,metallic,ao}.png (55 PNGs: body, stubble, eyes, teeth, hair, brows, undershirt, scrubs [shared by scrub_top and scrub_pants], clogs, gloves, accessories [atlas for stethoscope, lanyard, id_card, fob_watch, pens]); the GLB (26 MB) embeds 2048x2048 copies: JPEG base colour/normal and a packed ORM (R=AO, G=roughness, B=metallic), PNG base colour where alpha is needed (hair, brows, stubble). No lighting or shadow is baked into base colour; AO lives only in its own map. Scale: metres, +Y up, faces +Z, origin between the feet; 183 cm barefoot, crown at 1.858 m standing in the clogs, 1.873 m to the top of the hair; clog soles rest on y = 0. Part ids use 'emergencynurse.*' because the kit's id pattern forbids hyphens. three-check PASS (22/22) was run with NODE_OPTIONS=--max-old-space-size=14336: the checker pulls the GLB back as a JSON byte array and aborts on its default ~4 GB heap with a GLB this size. glb-lint: 0 errors with --plan; 4 advisory warnings (the mannequin-figure direction's 80k-triangle and 6-material defaults, which design-plan.md overrides; materials that intentionally share the accessories atlas; nested clothing bounding boxes). With design-check/requirements.json the verdict is PASS. Limits, honestly: static A-pose with no rig, skin weights or blend shapes (edge loops at eyes, mouth, shoulders, elbows, knees and fingers are built in, but nothing is skinned); the body and head are SDF sculpts sampled by quad grids, not scan fidelity. The face reads as a procedural sculpt (lips and philtrum slightly stylised) and the armpit transition on the bare body is softened but still a little pinched; cloth folds and creases are sculpted analytically, with no cloth simulation; fabric maps tile, so seams are modelled as hems/creases rather than unique stitch textures, and there is no wear or stain map; hair is alpha-tested cards plus a two-layer scalp cap with vertex-alpha density for the fade (no strands); stubble is an alpha shell; pores are in the normal map and soften at the GLB's 2K; teeth are modelled but hidden behind the closed lips; the gloves are a simplified flattened-sack shape tucked under the top hem; the clogs are closed shells with the foot inside; the right-side limbs mirror the left side's UVs. No logos or text: the ID card is blank (colour band and empty photo window), the watch dial has ticks only. Deterministic: seeded noise only.
About the Emergency Nurse 3D model
Emergency Nurse is a free realistic 3D model from the Characters set. It measures 1.5 m × 1.9 m × 39 cm (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 149,470 triangles across 17 meshes, with 17 named parts. Download the 25.6 MB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.
- Is the Emergency Nurse 3D model free for commercial use?
- Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
- What file format is it, and how big is it?
- A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 25.6 MB: 149,470 triangles, 88,392 vertices and 17 materials, modelled in metres at 1.5 m × 1.9 m × 39 cm.
- Can I animate Emergency Nurse?
- It ships as a static mesh. Its 17 named parts are separate nodes, so you can move or animate each one in your engine.
- Which engines and tools can open it?
- Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
- How was the Emergency Nurse 3D model made?
- Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
