Ice cream cart

A low-poly park ice cream push cart: a white freezer box with a blue skirt and a cone motif on two big spoked wheels, two hinged lids, a cone dispenser, and a blue-and-white striped parasol topped with a giant three-scoop cone. The parasol turns and one lid opens in a seamless 6 s loop.

How it was made

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:

Ice cream cart for the City Park kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. It moves: author a seamless baked loop (2–12 s) with every pivot exactly at its hinge, axle or swivel, and keep the base still. This is one part of the City Park kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): Green space in the middle of town. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: grass green #3a883a, path beige #d6c5a9, pond blue #2e67b8, iron black #151619, grass green dark #235223, path beige dark #bda375, grass green light #5db15d, path beige light #ede8de, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `season` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Season" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Size: the cart body is 1.2 m long, 0.62 m deep and 0.92 m tall to the lids. The handle and the cone dispenser add to its length, and the parasol is 1.9 m across. The parasol rim is at 1.82 m and the top of the cone topper is at 2.70 m. The wheels are 0.6 m across. The origin is at the bottom centre, with both tyres and the stand's foot bar resting on y = 0. The front (cone motif, customer side) faces +Z, and the wheels are at the +X end. The exported model has 2,012 triangles in 42 meshes. Every material is named exactly after its City Park palette colour, and 10 of the 12 colours are used at the default season. grass green and grass green dark are not used. The exporter writes one material per mesh, so the same colour name appears on several materials: recolour by name. The geometry is non-indexed with face normals, so it stays flat-shaded in any engine. The baked clip scene-motion (6 s, seamless) moves only parts on their own pivots. The parasol turns a quarter turn about its pole axis, which is exactly two of its 8 alternating panels, so the end frame matches the start. The cone topper turns with it. The right freezer lid opens on its back hinge line and is shut at 0 s and 6 s. The frame, cabinet and wheels never move; the wheels are parked, not rolling. Params are baked into the GLB at their defaults and only change the model when the scene is rebuilt in the viewer. season (the kit's 'Season') goes from spring (0) to autumn (1). It sets the scoop flavours on the topper, the front motif and the tubs under the lids: mint and vanilla below 0.34, chocolate, mint and vanilla in summer, and chocolate, caramel and toffee from 0.67. It also sets the cone stack in the dispenser: 2 cones at either end of the range and 6 at 0.5. lidSwing only changes the animation, not the rest pose. Both extremes passed three-check: season 0, length 1.0 m, parasol radius 0.75 m and lid swing 1.4; and season 1, length 1.5 m, parasol radius 1.15 m and lid swing 0. glb-lint: 0 errors and 5 warnings. Two are about material count and duplicates, both caused by the per-mesh materials. One flags non-indexed geometry, which is deliberate flat shading. One flags overlaps where the skirt, rim, corner strips and frame are deliberately nested into the cabinet. The last is the expected-height heuristic, which assumes about 1 m. Its verdict reads UNVERIFIED only because no host requirements contract was supplied. plan-check passes except for its part-id regex, which rejects the hyphens in the slug-based ids this library requires. three-check accepts those ids, and all 11 survive the GLB reload.

About the Ice cream cart 3D model

Ice cream cart is a free animated low-poly 3D model from the City Park set. It measures 2.6 m × 2.7 m × 2.6 m (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 2,012 triangles across 42 meshes, with 11 named parts and a baked animation (6.0 s). Download the 229 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.

Is the Ice cream cart 3D model free for commercial use?
Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
What file format is it, and how big is it?
A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 229 KB: 2,012 triangles, 5,113 vertices and 42 materials, modelled in metres at 2.6 m × 2.7 m × 2.6 m.
Is Ice cream cart animated?
Yes — the GLB carries a baked animation (6.0 s), ready to play with any glTF animation mixer.
Which engines and tools can open it?
Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
How was the Ice cream cart 3D model made?
Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
