Spinning lollipops

Three giant swirl lollipops on paper sticks, planted in a frosted chocolate drum, with candy discs that turn like pinwheels on short axles. Low-poly, flat-shaded and carrying a seamless 6-second spin loop.

How it was made

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:

Spinning lollipops for the Candy Land kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. It moves: author a seamless baked loop (2–12 s) with every pivot exactly at its hinge, axle or swivel, and keep the base still. This is one part of the Candy Land kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): A world you could eat. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: bubblegum pink #e085a3, mint #90d5b3, chocolate #51341f, lemon #f0e142, bubblegum pink dark #d14775, mint dark #59c08c, bubblegum pink light #eec4d2, mint light #c9e8d9, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `flavourPalette` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Flavour palette" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: 1436 triangles, one 6 s clip named "scene-motion". Real-world scale: 1.55 m tall and about 1.25 m across, a giant Candy Land decoration. Origin is bottom centre; the chocolate drum rests on y = 0 and never moves. Each disc's spinner node sits exactly on its axle line (disc centre) and turns an integer number of revolutions about local Z (tall -1, right +2, left -2 at spinTurns 1), so the loop closes exactly; sticks, axles and collars are static. The GLB was exported mid-loop, so its static node pose shows the discs turned; glb-lint's 1.64 m bounds height is the rotated discs' bounding boxes, not real geometry. Material names are the Candy Land palette colour names verbatim (chocolate, bubblegum pink light, warm white, mint dark, bubblegum pink dark, lemon) so the kit recolours by name; the design role is on material.userData.role. The viewer's exporter clones one material per mesh, so names repeat in the GLB (20 materials, 6 distinct names); recolouring by name still catches all of them. Part ids use the "spinninglollipops." prefix because the kit's part-id grammar does not allow hyphens. flavourPalette switches between three all-palette schemes (berry pinks < 0.33, mixed 0.33-0.66, mint greens > 0.66) rather than blending, because a blended colour would leave the palette. lollipopCount, stickHeight, discSize and spinTurns rebuild the model in the viewer; the downloadable GLB is the default 3-lollipop build. glb-lint shows no errors, with 4 heuristic warnings: material count and duplicate names (the per-mesh clone above), non-indexed primitives (flat-shaded extrusions) and sibling box overlap (candy, swirl and hub halves nest inside each disc by design).

About the Spinning lollipops 3D model

Spinning lollipops is a free animated low-poly 3D model from the Candy Land set. It measures 1.3 m × 1.6 m × 1.2 m (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 1,436 triangles across 20 meshes, with 27 named parts and a baked animation (6.0 s). Download the 152 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.

Is the Spinning lollipops 3D model free for commercial use?
Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
What file format is it, and how big is it?
A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 152 KB: 1,436 triangles, 3,434 vertices and 20 materials, modelled in metres at 1.3 m × 1.6 m × 1.2 m.
Is Spinning lollipops animated?
Yes — the GLB carries a baked animation (6.0 s), ready to play with any glTF animation mixer.
Which engines and tools can open it?
Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
How was the Spinning lollipops 3D model made?
Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
