Pastries

A low-poly two-tier patisserie stand: gold-rimmed porcelain plates on a gold rod with a ring handle, carrying croissants, pains au chocolat and rose fruit tarts below, and iced mini éclairs and stacked macarons on top.

How it was made

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:

Pastries for the Bakery and Patisserie kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. This is one part of the Bakery and Patisserie kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): Warm ovens and glass counters. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: cream #f1e7d0, pastry gold #d0a225, rose #cc6680, chocolate brown #6b4a2e, cream dark #e0c994, pastry gold dark #8f7019, cream light #fbf9f4, pastry gold light #debd63, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `productRange` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Product range" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Size: 0.36 m across the lower plate (0.26 m upper plate) × 0.33 m tall to the top of the ring handle, a table-top tiered patisserie stand. The origin is on the stand's axis at the bottom of the foot, on y = 0, and the front faces +Z. The GLB has 2,402 triangles in 17 meshes (merged per part and palette colour; counted from the GLB accessors). Static: there is no animation clip. Every material is named exactly after its Bakery and Patisserie palette colour. The default build uses 7 of the 12 colours (icing 1 and 2 swap the éclair icing to rose or warm white). three.js's exporter writes one material per mesh, so names repeat. Params are baked at export, so the GLB is the default build. productRange (the kit's Product range setting) stocks each tier with 3–6 pastries: croissant / pain au chocolat / tart in turn below, éclair / macaron pair above. tierGap sets the spacing between the plates (0.12–0.20 m) and so the overall height. Both param extremes passed three-check: productRange 0 / tierGap 0.12 / icing 2 gives about 1.6k GLB triangles, and 1 / 0.20 / 1 gives about 2.8k. plan-check's part-id pattern rejects the hyphenated slug ids the library requires, so the plan was validated with the hyphens removed (PASS) and is otherwise unchanged. glb-lint reports 0 errors. Its warnings are expected for this pipeline: duplicate material names, non-indexed flat-shaded geometry, pastries overlapping the plate in bounding-box terms (they rest on it), and a scale check that assumes a 1 m reference object.

About the Pastries 3D model

Pastries is a free low-poly 3D model from the Bakery and Patisserie set. It measures 36 cm × 33 cm × 36 cm (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 2,402 triangles across 17 meshes, with 7 named parts. Download the 185 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.

Is the Pastries 3D model free for commercial use?
Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
What file format is it, and how big is it?
A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 185 KB: 2,402 triangles, 7,206 vertices and 17 materials, modelled in metres at 36 cm × 33 cm × 36 cm.
Can I animate Pastries?
It ships as a static mesh. Its 7 named parts are separate nodes, so you can move or animate each one in your engine.
Which engines and tools can open it?
Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
How was the Pastries 3D model made?
Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
