Alien flowers

A waist-high clump of low-poly alien flowers: three curved teal stems with cupped magenta blooms and glowing cores, rising from a rosette of folded leaves on a root crown. Part of the Alien Jungle kit.

How it was made

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:

Alien flowers for the Alien Jungle kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. This is one part of the Alien Jungle kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): A glowing forest on another world. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: teal #2d8686, magenta #d02597, bioluminescent green #3a883a, deep purple #432055, teal dark #1a4d4d, magenta dark #8f1968, teal light #46b9b9, magenta light #de63b5, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `glowColour` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Glow colour" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Size: 0.75 m wide x 0.96 m tall x 0.71 m deep (metres, +Y up, front +Z, origin at the bottom centre of the root crown, resting on y = 0). 1474 triangles, 9 materials named after the Alien Jungle palette colours, flat per-face normals, no textures, no animation. Leaves and petals are single-sided sheets exported as doubleSided materials. glowColour steps between three palette glows (0-0.33 bioluminescent green, 0.34-0.66 teal light, 0.67-1 warm white) instead of blending, so the glow material is always a named palette colour; the exported file uses the default (teal light, emissive). The glow is emissive colour only; the GLB carries no bloom. Part ids drop the slug's hyphens (alienjunglealienflowers.*) because the kit's part-id grammar does not allow them. The core and stamen-tip glow appears as two materials that share the name 'teal light'. glb-lint has 0 errors, plus heuristic warnings: non-indexed geometry (on purpose, for flat facets) and 'detached' stems/leaves, which are embedded in the root crown.
