How it was made

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:

A realistic full-body 3D character: a South Asian woman in her early 30s, toned and slender, 165 cm tall. Dark brown eyes, thick dark eyebrows, medium-brown skin with visible pores and a small nose stud. Long wavy black hair in a high ponytail, modelled as hair cards. Clothing: a sage-green long-sleeve fitted top, high-waisted charcoal leggings, barefoot, a thin beaded bracelet, and a rolled cork-and-rubber yoga mat carried under one arm on a fabric strap. Pose: neutral A-pose, arms at 45 degrees, fingers slightly spread, feet shoulder-width apart, neutral facial expression, mouth closed. Technical: 120,000 to 150,000 triangles total, with density concentrated in the face, hands and clothing folds. Clean quad-dominant topology with edge loops around the eyes, mouth, shoulders, elbows, knees and fingers so it deforms well when rigged. Separate meshes for body, eyes, teeth, hair and each clothing layer. Real-world scale in metres, origin at ground level between the feet. PBR textures at 4K: base colour, normal, roughness, metallic, ambient occlusion. No baked lighting or shadows in the base colour. No logos, brand names or readable text anywhere.

Note: Triangles: 144,924 measured in the exported GLB (body+head 80,864 incl. mouth bag; hair cards 14,188; top 15,120; leggings 16,960; mat 6,044; eyes 2,496; corneas 704; teeth 3,168; bracelet 2,640; strap 1,620; buckle 464; hair tie 512; nose stud 144). Before triangulation the source is 72,461 quads and 2 triangles. Body and head are one continuous Catmull-Clark mesh projected onto an analytic anatomy SDF. It has true concentric edge loops at the eyes (64 verts) and mouth (80 verts), knee/elbow/shoulder/finger rings, and an all-quad 2:1 reduction band at the neck. Clothing layers are separate offset shells with sculpted folds, raised flatlock seams and turned-in hem facings, so every edge shows thickness; they are single-layer, not double-walled. Textures: 11 PBR sets (base colour, normal, roughness, metallic, AO) generated procedurally by tools/bake-textures.mjs at 4096² in dist/textures-4k/<set>_<map>.png (55 PNGs, ~168 MB). The GLB embeds 2048² JPEG copies (hair base colour is an RGBA PNG); roughness, metallic and AO are packed into one ORM texture per material, per glTF convention (30 images). No lighting or shadow is in the base colour. Limits, stated plainly: the face is a generic procedural sculpt, not a likeness or scan. Ears are simplified shells without full undercuts. There is a soft crease under the chin and a small dent at the thumb web. Hair is static alpha-tested cards; there is no simulation, rig, skin weights or blendshapes (the topology is rig-friendly but not rigged). Folds are sculpted analytically, not cloth-simulated. The A-pose holds the arm 45° out, so the mat hangs from its shoulder strap at the left hip under the raised arm, not clamped in the armpit. Part ids use the root 'yogainstructor' because the kit's part-id grammar forbids hyphens. The GLB lists 14 material entries because the runtime clones each mesh's material on export; the four accessories entries are identical and share one texture set. GLB lint reports no errors; its verdict reads UNVERIFIED only because no requirements contract was supplied. Its warnings are the direction's 80k triangle and 6-material defaults (both overridden in the plan) and intended nesting of eyes, teeth and corneas inside the body bounds.

About the Yoga Instructor 3D model

Yoga Instructor is a free realistic 3D model from the Characters set. It measures 1.3 m × 1.7 m × 61 cm (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 144,924 triangles across 14 meshes, with 13 named parts. Download the 16.0 MB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.

Is the Yoga Instructor 3D model free for commercial use?
Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
What file format is it, and how big is it?
A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 16.0 MB: 144,924 triangles, 129,530 vertices and 14 materials, modelled in metres at 1.3 m × 1.7 m × 61 cm.
Can I animate Yoga Instructor?
It ships as a static mesh. Its 13 named parts are separate nodes, so you can move or animate each one in your engine.
Which engines and tools can open it?
Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
How was the Yoga Instructor 3D model made?
Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
