How it was made

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:

Wreaths for the Winter Holiday Village kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. This is one part of the Winter Holiday Village kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): Snow, lights and a market square. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: snow white #f4f1ec, pine green #3a883a, red #c32222, warm gold #da942b, snow white dark #d7cebc, pine green dark #235223, snow white light #f9f8f6, pine green light #5db15d, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `snowDepth` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Snow depth" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Real-world size at defaults: 0.61 m across, 0.65 m tall including the ribbon hanging loop (about 0.61 m for the ring alone), 0.22 m deep front to back with the bow; it stands upright facing +Z with the bottom of the ring on y = 0, ready to hang on a door at about 1.5 m. 4188 triangles, 12 meshes, static model with no animation clip. Every material is named exactly as its kit palette colour (9 of the 12 kit colours are used); warm gold carries a mild emissive so the bells catch light. Params are build-time knobs in the viewer and the GLB is baked at the defaults (0.6 m, 30 sprigs per layer, 8 berry clusters, snowDepth 0.5); at the maximum settings the model stays near 5700 triangles. diameter scales the whole wreath uniformly. snowDepth grows the snow lumps on upward-facing surfaces (top of the ring and inside of the hole); at 0 the snow mesh is omitted but the wreath.snow part id stays as an empty node. Part ids use the hyphen-free root 'wreath' because the kit's part-id grammar forbids hyphens. Geometry is flat-shaded and non-indexed (one normal per face) so it stays faceted in any engine; the exporter writes one material copy per mesh, so 'red' and 'dark wood' appear more than once. glb-lint reported 0 errors and only heuristic warnings: material count (12 copies vs the direction's 10), non-indexed geometry, overlapping greenery meshes (sprig layers interleave by design) and detached-part flags for frame, berries, pinecones, bow and hanger, which are embedded in the greenery of a different part group that the sibling-only check does not see.
