Light strings

A festoon string of red, gold, green and warm-white globe bulbs sagging between two snow-capped wooden posts with garlands and red bows. A low-poly street-light prop for a winter market square.

How it was made

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:

Light strings for the Winter Holiday Village kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. This is one part of the Winter Holiday Village kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): Snow, lights and a market square. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: snow white #f4f1ec, pine green #3a883a, red #c32222, warm gold #da942b, snow white dark #d7cebc, pine green dark #235223, snow white light #f9f8f6, pine green light #5db15d, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `snowDepth` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Snow depth" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Size: 3.02 m wide × 2.27 m tall × 0.62 m deep at default settings (posts 2.4 m apart, 2.2 m tall; globes 13.6 cm). Origin is at the bottom centre; the feet rest on y = 0; the string runs along X and the front faces +Z. 1,616 triangles, 9 materials, each named after its kit palette colour, with no textures. The bulbs carry a low emissive of their own colour. Bloom is off, so they read as lit but do not glow in engines without post-processing. Static prop: no animation clip. snowDepth scales the snow caps and the snow on the feet; at 0 those snow meshes are left out. The bulb count and spacing bounds keep the globes from touching. The plan uses kit-legal wrapper ids (lightstrings.*) on the groups because the kit's id checker forbids hyphens; every mesh carries the library id (winter-holiday-village-light-strings.*). Because the export is static, changing params in the viewer does not change this GLB, which is the default build.
