Planters
A low-poly planter set for a tiny house: a tall cedar-clad box with a small tree beside a long cedar herb trough on black steel legs, both trimmed with white corner posts and cap rails, plus a small black pot with a succulent.

Left rail: colours and the 4 knobs the agent wrote into this model — they rebuild the geometry and go into your download. Right rail: looks for the viewer. Drag to orbit, scroll to zoom.

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:
Planters for the Tiny House kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. This is one part of the Tiny House kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): A complete home in a small box. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: cedar #814c31, white #f4f1ec, matte black #151619, plant green #3a883a, cedar dark #4a2b1c, white dark #d7cebc, cedar light #b36e4d, white light #f9f8f6, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `cladding` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Cladding" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Size: about 1.52 m wide × 0.65 m deep × 1.33 m tall (to the top of the tree crown). The tall planter is 0.42 × 0.42 × 0.62 m. The trough is 1.0 × 0.34 m and 0.52 m tall on 10 cm legs. The small pot is 0.2 m across. Origin is at the bottom centre of the set's bounding box on y = 0, and the front faces +Z. 1,712 triangles, counted from the GLB accessors. three-check's figure also includes the viewer's staging ground, which is not exported. Static: no animation clip. cladding (the kit's Cladding setting) changes the height of the horizontal cedar boards on both boxes, from 5 cm slats at 0 to 14 cm boards at 1, always in a whole number of courses that meet the cap rail. troughLength adds herb clumps as it grows. tallHeight and treeHeight change the tall box and its tree. The all-minimum and all-maximum param sets both passed three-check. Every material is named exactly after its Tiny House palette colour. 9 of the 12 are used; white dark, cedar light and warm white are not. three.js's exporter writes one material per mesh, so names repeat (22 materials, 9 distinct names). plan-check's part-id pattern rejects the hyphenated slug ids the brief requires. The plan passed plan-check with the hyphens removed and is otherwise unchanged. glb-lint: 0 errors. Its warnings are duplicate material names, non-indexed flat-shaded geometry, intended nesting (boards and posts around each core), and a 'detached' heuristic for the trough's cap rail, which rests on the boards and posts.
About the Planters 3D model
Planters is a free low-poly 3D model from the Tiny House set. It measures 1.6 m × 1.3 m × 65 cm (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 1,712 triangles across 22 meshes, with 28 named parts. Download the 141 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.
- Is the Planters 3D model free for commercial use?
- Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
- What file format is it, and how big is it?
- A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 141 KB: 1,712 triangles, 5,136 vertices and 22 materials, modelled in metres at 1.6 m × 1.3 m × 65 cm.
- Can I animate Planters?
- It ships as a static mesh. Its 28 named parts are separate nodes, so you can move or animate each one in your engine.
- Which engines and tools can open it?
- Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
- How was the Planters 3D model made?
- Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
